A/N: Yeah, it short. I may add to it at some point, i don't know. Anyway, I don't own the characters, blah blah blah... whatever, just read. And REVIEW PLEASE. I'm trying to improve my writing.

Roxas' funeral was the first time Sora met Axel. The redhead had walked in, kneeled in front of the casket for a while, being completely silent, and walked out, completely dry-eyed. Sora, confused and offended, had stormed out after him, against Riku's words of comfort. Sora's anger had disappeared when he found the other male with his head in his hands, shoulders shaking and soft sobs coming from him.

"Who are you?" Sora had questioned softly.

"Axel," was all he said for a few minutes. He then asked, "And who are you?"

"I'm Sora," Sora had answered. "Roxas' brother. How'd you know him?"

"Kid, if I told you, you'd probably attempt to kill me. Never knew he had a brother though. He never told me shit like that. Refused to talk about his past. I just figured he was abused or something. How'd he die?"

"He… he shot himself…"

Axel had simply shrugged and said, "Guess I should've listened better."

"What do you mean?"

Axel hadn't looked at Sora at this point, but at the darkened night sky. The redhead held out his hand as the first few raindrops fell. He stood.

"We should head in."

"What did you mean?"

"Nothing," was all Axel had said. The redhead had refused to talk for the duration of the funeral.

But by the time the time Sora was up in front of the casket to say his last goodbyes, he noticed a ring on Roxas' left hand that he was sure hadn't been there at the beginning, and Axel was nowhere to be found.

And that's it. I told you, it's short. REVIEW!
