The Black Riders

The Red Moon glows

The waters froze

and all that lived stood still

The Night Time crept

While creatures slept

and small dark dreams could kill

The Riders came

On horses tame

gliding through the night

They're gallop bold

Their faces old

chilling to the sight

The warrior strong

Awaits the dawn

and fears the treacherous men

The sun won't rise

As hard as it tries

as echos cry again

The warrior brave

Who tries to save

is sickly in his bed

Their laughter rang

And Shadows sang

as the Moon shone red
