pIt had been three days since the dropship landed and yet she still couldn't seem to get used to the sounds of the night-fowl that wailed eerily from the direction of the river. However yet here she was once again, walking outside and staring up at the cloudless skies. /p

pShe wondered if she should even be out here, especially since Jasper was laying inside the dropship still in pain from the wound from the arrow that had pierced through him only days prior. Though she knew that even she had her limits at how much moaning that she could take until it became too much and a few minutes in the night air would help that./p

pAs she walked over to the gate she heard something snap just right outside, causing her to instantly stiffen, a hand going to the gun that she had stuck on her side./p

pEver since Jasper had been attacked everything in the camp had been in an uproar, especially since they didn't know when the next attack would be./p

p"Who's there?" she demanded, taking aim into the darkness where she thought the sound had come from, though suddenly she heard a crack and what sounded like a muted yelp./p

p /p

pAgainst her better judgement, she slipped out of the protective wall and toward the sound, though to her surprise she found a young girl that looked around the age of fourteen sitting on the ground, dagger clutched in hand./p

p"are you okay?" /p

pClarke asked, earning a glare from the child who moved backward and pointed the weapon directly at her face./p

p"Gon we skaigeda!" the girl ordered, moving to stand, only to fall back down with only a small hint of a whimper./p

p"you're hurt...I can help." Clarke responded, only to have the knife go whizzing by her head./p

p"No."/p

p /p

pClarke looked over at where the knife had stuck into the tree beside of her and wondered just how the girl knew how to wield a weapon in such a way./p

p"I'll be back." Clarke began, though suddenly the girl responded with /p

p"hod op. Chon yu bilaik?" /p

pIt didn't take a genius to guess that hod op was hold up or stop though the rest Clarke was at a loss at./p

p"I'm sorry, I don't speak your language." She responded, earning an irritated huff from the girl who replied in slow, articulated English./p

p"Who are you, sky girl?" /p

pClarke was surprised by the fact that the strange child could speak English though she answered./p

p"I'm Clarke Griffin...and I can help you with your leg." /p

p /p

pThe girl looked down at her leg, noting that it was obviously broken due to the strange angle that it was setting at./p

p"Yu bilaik fisa?" she questioned then after letting out a huff repeated in English /p

p"you are a healer?"/p

pClarke nodded then, earning a slight nod from the girl./p

p"I let you help, but if you are not telling truth I will kill you."/p
