Austria ultimate pack rat. But he's married to reader though you don't find out until the end. And that they have kids together.
Austria sighed as he walked up the stairs and went into his attic. He had to get rid of some stuff but how? There were so many sentimental things in here.
Austria took a soccer ball off the shelf and grinned, remembering when he was ten and he first met the most amazing person, his best friend.
He had been playing soccer at the park he was ten years old, when the fearless young girl maybe a year younger than him stole the ball and kicked it away from him. Austria had gone combative and attacked the ball kicking it away from her. They had no goal to aim for, just kicking it away from each other. Austria had tripped over her foot and they had rolled and he landed on top of her where they just laughed.
Austria set the ball in 'To Keep' box, and then pulled out a pair of tickets. Austria chuckled.
Sixteen years old and he had just gotten his first car. He offered to take her to a movie, and so they both went and that's when he had asked her out, it was the best date he had ever went on.
Austria laughed and shook his head and then put the tickets in the 'To Keep' box, and then found a corsage.
It was prom night and he and his girlfriend, who was also his best friend. It was the best night of his life. That night after prom, they had went to his car and took advantage of the night and it's wonderful memories.
Austria sighed with a smile and put the corsage into the box and then his eye caught the shotgun. Austria laughed again as he held it.
It was shortly after prom night when Austria sat before her father, they discussed long and hard about what had happened. But Austria assured him that all was taken cared of, because he had a plan. Her father had been polishing his shotgun, eyeing Austria.
Then Austria found the album after putting the shotgun in the keepers box. He flipped through the photos and smiled as a woman with a wedding band on her left ring finger sat beside him and grinned, "Not a single 'to go' item huh?"
"Sorry love, but there's too many memories in here to get rid of."
"That's why I say we take pictures of the items and then get rid of them." You said.
Austria chuckled, "You always were a troubling woman."
"But I'm your troublesome woman." You said and kissed him.
He grinned and the door slammed and your children screamed, "MOM! Andrea's being a pest!" Your son called out. Then his little sister screamed, "NO! HE HIT ME! RICK HIT ME!" The fifth and third graders squabbled. Austria and you laughed, this was your life and you wouldn't have it any other way.
