"Psss! Moony!"

Dreading what Sirius was about to say, Remus slowly lifted his head to stare at his best friends. "Sirius, James, what are you doing?"

Remus was in the hospital wing. It had been a rough transformation last night and he was left more exhausted than usual. This of course didn't bother his fellow Marauders and they had wasted no time in sneaking past Madam Pomfrey to visit their friend.

Remus was startled by James frantically waving his hand in Remus' face. "You were starting to daydream, man! Wake up!"

Remus sighed. "I'm awake. What do you want?"

Puffing out his chest, Sirius tossed his long hair and made a ridiculous face. "I, the amazing Sirius, Padfoor Supreme, had an unbelievable idea!

"Did it hurt?"

Giving Remus a glare, he continued, "In charms today, dear old Filius was trying to teach about using charms to measure distances!"

"What do you mean, 'trying'?"

James flashed Remus a grin. "Well you see, Snivellus was also in the class and his hair seemed extra greasy today. So Padfoot and I just though we should remind him of the necessity of shampoo. Filius seemed to think we should all go to Professor Dumbeldore instead."

Sirius shook his head mornfuly. "Old Flitwick just didn't understand. We ended up missing most of the class."

Remus sighed at his friends actions; humorous as they often were, they usually resulted in getting kicked out of class. "Alright, back to your idea. What do measuring charms have to do with anything?"

"I am going to measure the castle!"

"What?"

"Every room, every stair case, every picture... I shall measure it!"

"What?"

Sirius looked at him strangely. "Why do you keep asking what I said? I thought you had really good hearing or something."

Incredulously, Remus shook his head. "Why the bloody hell would you measure Hogwarts?"

James grinned triumphantly. "To make a map of course!"

"A great map!" Sirius added.

"An amazing map!"

"A perfect map with perfect measurements!"

"A map that will make Snivilus envy us for all time!"

"A map that will amaze the world and..."

"PRONGS! PADFOOT!"

"Yes?" They chimed together.

"Would one of you please explain, slowly, what exactly your idea is?"

A fourth voice started talking, "Well Sirius was thinking that..."

"Who are you?" James stared at him.

The boy they hadn't noticed before sighed, picked up and hugged a white teddy bear, and said, "I'm Peter."

"Oh. Okay."

"Well Sirius was thinking that we should make a map of Hogwarts. We would measure everything and draw the castle exactly to scale. We could find new secret passageways because wherever there are blank spots on the map, there must be something yet undiscovered. And then after we finish that part, were going to place a tracking spell on everyone in the castle, so that they appear on the map. That way we can always know where the teachers and prefects are at all times. Brilliant, yes?"

Remus turned to stare at Sirius. "You want to make a map of a castle that is unplottable."

"You agree then?"

Remus tried to stare incredulously. "I think you're mad, is what I'm saying. Doing this would be amazing but likely impossible! You can't be serious!"

James smacked his head. "Don't say that!"

Smirking unrepentantly, Sirius announced, "Oh I assure you, I am most definitely Sirius."

Groaning, James turned back to Sirius. "You said it would be likely impossible since the castle unplottable. Do you think there's any way around that rule?"

Smirking, Sirius looked back towards Remus. "Prongs, I have another idea."
