Takes place after Addison returns to Seattle Grace and stirs up trouble for Callie hehe. This is a short short drabble told from Derek's point of view about her visit to the hospital. Title's a David Cook song.

How would you like to come to work and find your ex-wife there? Personally I didn't enjoy it much. Meredith's and emotional wreck as it is, and I had lives to save. I didn't have time for this. So you can imagine how pissed I was to see Addison back at Seattle Grace without any warning. The whole time she was here last time I couldn't even breathe, afraid my actions might set off Meredith.

I was about 90% sure Addison returned just to stir up trouble. Meredith sure was uptight until Addison returned to California. I think she was scared I'd go back to Addison. That was a mistake I shouldn't have made last time. Really it was just my stubbornness that drew me back to Addison when the opportunity came. Just like when I was a boy in school, I didn't want any bad marks on my record. A divorce would be a bad mark.

I tried my best to avoid Addison during the time she was in Seattle. But it's hard to avoid someone without making it seem like you're avoiding them. I don't think any major damage was done, but I swear, if Addison shows up at this hospital again, I'll move out to the middle of the ocean.
