Hey guys! This story is based on a challenge I came across while looking through other Persona crossovers and decided that I wanted to give it a try. I really enjoyed watching Avengers: Infinity War in theaters, even though they made some changes from the comic, but I really enjoyed it. This story will include the main teams from Persona 3, 4, and 5 as well as the Avengers, Guardians and of course, Thanos himself. But before we actually get into the story, I decided to make the first chapter the trailer of the story, then have the next one be the story, which I plan to make one whole chapter so that way it won't sidetrack me from my other stories.
Anyway, let me know what you think of it and if you're excited for the story and I'll see you all when I manage to make it. So lets jump right in!
Nick Fury: There was an idea,
Begins to show a planets surface from space, before fading to show Tony Stark, the Iron Man, sitting in a fetal position and rocking back and forth in fear and pain.
Tony: To bring together a group of remarkable people.
Bruce Banner, the Hulk, lies in a pile of shattered wood in human form while Dr. Steven Strange and his partner Wong, who has his his hands surrounded with magic glyph's, stare down at him in confusion before glancing at each other.
Vision: So that we could become something more.
Vision, in a more human-like form opens the curtains of a window before being approached by Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, who brings a gentle hand to his face as they smile at each other.
Thor: So that when they needed us, we could fight the battles,
Thor stands before the window of a ship as he stares out into the star-filled vacuum of space, before the scene changes to show Bruce working on the Hulk-Buster with Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow, standing nearby.
Natasha: That they never could.
The scene then changes to show a group of high school students standing atop a dark tower facing against a giant, black-winged figure before it fades away to show those same students now slightly older and sitting at a round table with serious expressions while a blonde human-like android stares at an old picture of her and a young blue-haired boy.
Aigis: Death is inevitable, but we will still fight against it.
Next, another group of high school students is seen sitting around a food court, laughing and chatting happily before it also fades away to show them slightly older and standing in the middle of a dense jungle.
Yu: Reality isn't a game. A terrible truth is better than a terrible lie.
Finally, the scene shows yet another group of high school students, this group dressed in different costumes and facing a god-like being as the leader, dressed in a long trench coat, points his pistol forward.
Joker: We will break these chains you use to bring us down.
The scene finally fades to show the Marvel Studios logo appear, which quickly follows with the Atlus logo. Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, Dr. Strange, and Wong stand at the entrance hall of the New York Sanctum before they begin to hear a commotion outside.
Thanos: In time, you will know what it's like to lose. To feel so desperately that you're right, yet to fail all the same.
Tony opens the door to find people running away from something, screaming in terror before the scene changes to show the blonde android from before and a silver-haired girl stand up from their seats in a cafe to see the commotion. The scene then shows Peter Parker, the Spider-Man, notice his spider-sense go off on his arm before looking out the window of the school bus to see a round, circular ship floating above the city.
Thanos: Dread it. Run from it. Destiny still arrives.
Tony and his group stand in the middle of a tattered New York street as he takes his glasses of while staring at something ahead. The scene then shows someone walking over the deceased bodies of Asgardians before it then shows Thor's brother Loki holding the Tesseract in his right hand. It then changes to show the Mad Titan Thanos step out of a spacial vortex onto the ruins of his home planet with a dark smile.
T'Challa: Evacuate the city. Engage all defenses.
Spider-Man flips through the air before landing on a ship in his Iron-Spider suit before the scene shows Thor holding a circular gate open with his bare hands while seemingly screaming in agony. It cuts to Yu Narukami, along with Rise Kujikawa, Yosuke Hanamura, and Chie Satonaka standing on Thanos' home world with looks of concern along with Aigis and Labrys as well as Akira Kurusu (Joker), Makoto Niijima (Queen) and Morgana (Mona). It then shows one of the children of Thanos, Proxima Midnight, throw her spear towards a figure hidden in the shadows of a subway before the figure leans away and effortlessly catches the spear.
T'Challa: And get this man a shield.
Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, steps out from the shadows while Scarlet Witch looks back over her shoulder with relief. It then begins to show the Hulk-Buster landing on the ground before it then shows Mitsuru Kirijo slash at an unknown assailant with her rapier, then to Joker, Queen, and Mona in their Phantom Thief clothes while staring up at something in the sky. The scene then shows multiple pyramid-shapes vessels crash land outside Wakanda, then changes to show Captain America punch a dark-skinned, four-armed monster away while Shadow Operative member Akihiko Sanada punches another one away while only for it to be finished off by Kanji Tatsumi and Yusuke Kitagawa along with their Persona's Take-Mikazuchi and Goemon. The scene then shows Thanos choke-slam Spider-Man into the ground before it then cuts to Tony Stark looking over his shoulder.
Thanos: Fun isn't something one considers when balancing the universe.
The scene cuts to Vision being pinned to the ground by an unknown assailant, who stabs their spear into his forehead where the Mind Stone is before it then shows Thanos placing the Space Stone in the Infinity Gauntlet beside the Power Stone. Thanos is then seen approaching Yu and Joker while raising the Infinity Gauntlet and showing off the two gems before he is then shown having a punch blocked by Izanagi and Arsene at the same time.
Thanos: But this...does put a smile on my face.
The scene cuts to Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier, cocking his gun beside Junpei Iori, Yukari Takeba, and Ryuji Sakamato (Skull) alongside warriors of Wakanda. T-Challa is then seen crossing his arms over his chest while releasing his claws before it cuts to Ann Takamaki (Panther), Haru Okumera (Noir),Black Widow, Yukiko Amagi, Naoto Shirogane, Teddie, Ken Amada, and Koromaru defending Fuuka Yamagishi and Futaba Sakura (Oracle) from more four-armed monsters. The scene finally shows the Avengers and Persona-users gathered in Wakanda rushing at the alien army before it cuts to a familiar blue-haired boy standing before a large golden gate with a neutral expression which slowly turns into one of determination.
