41 BBY. As usual, Qui-Gon Jinn has found strikea pathetic life form/strike a scoundrel and his apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi, has to put up with it even though he is very frustrated about it. FFM 2015 July 17th. Not Exceptional Jedi material on its own but includes a reference to it.

Obi-Wan let his frustration go. He had been trying to talk to Qui-Gon about this for so many times that he had lost the count of them. The Jedi Master had always told him: "One day, you will understand, Obi-Wan."

Obi-Wan knew that protest did not change the matters now as they had no other lead, so he just followed his Master and the scoundrel Qui-Gon had befriended this time.

We'll see where this one leads us, Obi-Wan thought as they followed the scoundrel to a narrow alley.

This time he could only hope that they would not get defenestrated again
