Oh how I love thee couple. There is so much angst to them that I believe once in a while they deserve a little fluffiness and that is exactly what this is. This was part of a prompt word called Christmas that I had wrote and posted over at my forum. The only challenging part was writing it in 300 or less words. The final product turned out nicely but I decided that I was going to clean this up a little and slightly alter it and post it here. So here you go, a fluff, cheesy little shorty on Trent and Kira for Christmas.

I hope you like it. Feedback is always appreciated.

...

She turned the last of the lights off calling it a night. Boredom had set in, no friends to keep her company during this lonely holiday. Parents away with the whole house to herself. Not really a good way to spend Christmas.

Kira started heading down the hall to her room when the knock came from the front door. "Who could that be?" She asked, taking a quick glance at the clock.

She pulled the curtain back a little and smiled as she opened the door.

"Trent."

Their eyes met.

"Hi Kira."

"What are you doing here?" She asked the white ranger, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

Trent took a step up towards her, one hand behind his back. "My fathers Christmas party is lame. Another corporate talk my head is going to explode."

Kira laughed stepping out onto the porch. "That bad?"

He nodded. "You have no idea. I just wish one year he would allow me to have a say in it. It was unbelievably boring."

He reached his hand out to hers and gently pulled her close to him. "But that's not the real reason I'm here."

She looked at him, her brows shifting curiously.

"I wanted to see you."

"Well, here I am." She teased, grinning.

"I have something for you." He told her, revealing the hand behind his back. In his grasp was a blue box. "When I saw it, I thought it would be perfect for you."

He took her hand and placed the box inside.

"Trent…you didn't…" She opened the box and gasped. It shimmered in the moonlight as she lifted the necklace out. "It's beautiful." Dangling before her was a guitar shaped crystal.

"Here." He motioned for her to turn taking the jewelry and placed it around her neck.

She grabbed the crystal into the palm of her hand and held it tight, close to her heart. Her mouth widen with a smile. "Thank you." She barely said above a whisper. She turned her head to look at him, their faces almost touching. Her cheeks were burning hot when Kira looked into his eyes.

"Merry Christmas, Kira."

"Merry Christmas, Trent." She turned in his arms and softly brushed her lips across his cheek.
