"That filthy, lying snake is going to die," she growled, pulling her fiery hair into a ponytail. That intelligent zombie is crazy, Jedova thought as he backed off; he had not done anything to this being, yet she wanted to kill him. And he was all alone; his Master had disappeared in a flash and was nowhere to be seen now. He was gone.
The lights, however, were still flashing, unable to decide whether to go out or not. The dim light they occasionally provided did not give any joy to Jedova. He was alone with a real zombie. A real and intelligent zombie. Phayeth would never believe me if I told him that his horror stories are not as made-up as we all think, Jedova mused sadly. But I won't live long enough to tell him about this.
He knew that this was the zombie which had killed most of the small community on this planet. His fists shook as he tried to release his fear to the Force. He could not survive this encounter alone, not even with the aid from the Force.
He was joining it on this very day and place.
He waited, shaking but the zombie just kept muttering to herself. Jedova shook his head in disbelief, still certain that he would never see daylight again. Or even his Master. Or anyone else than this horrible, yet all-too-intelligent zombie.
"This is madness," Jedova muttered. This attracted the zombie's attention; she lifted her head and looked right into Jedova's eyes.
"Madness?" she repeated and dashed at horrified Jedova, who tried to accept his untimely end. The zombie grabbed the front of the boy's tunic, lifting him over her head, ignoring the young Padawan's protesting yelps. "THIS IS FANFICTION!"
She threw Jedova to the wall with force greater than anyone could have expected from a zombie with such fragile body. Sparks flashed in Jedova's eyes as he blacked out, thinking that the silent Nautolan with a blue lightsaber cutting the zombie into pieces was just made up by his imagination.
Luckily, he was wrong about it. Xurego, after making sure that the zombie would never rise again, carried his unconscious Padawan out of the dungeons. Mission was accomplished now, but not without losses and injuries.
Jedova needed medical help quickly for his injuries which had come from the crash with that wall after being thrown by the zombie. And he needed it now.
Xurego hurried up, once again wishing that he still had his voice. This was not the first nor the last time when he wished so.
