Authors Note;
I'm back from a long break from writing so I thought I'd try something short and light hearted about my favourite Naruto team.
Sorry for the extreme fluffiness, but I always thought that Koharu and Homura might have been nice before they turned into senile old coffin dodgers -.-
Summary; Team Tobirama spending time together in a brief moment of peace during the war. Koharu POV.

Hakanai
Koharu glances over to where Hiruzen is seated on the picnic blanket, currently stuffing as many onigiri into his mouth as humanly possible.
She smiles softly in amusement while slowly sipping her green tea. Though annoying and immature at times, Hiruzen has always been the glue holding their team together.
They were enjoying a fleeting moment of peace during the war, where they returned home battered and bruised to recuperate while things temporarily stabilized between the countries.
Their Sensei, Tobirama, had suggested they got together for some team bonding and had brought them out to a field on the outskirts of Konoha for a picnic.
She then carries her gaze over to the quietest member of their team, Homura. He sits silently eating Tempura and observing those around him. Though at first Koharu was intimidated by this quiet young man she quickly grew used to him and he slowly opened up to his team.
From where they are seated they get a clear view of the bustling streets of Konoha, already things seem back to normal after the temporary peace between the warring countries.
And finally she looks at their team leader, Senju Tobirama. He is laughing loudly while plotting his latest prank on his older brother with Hiruzen. Koharu really doesn't know how Hashirama hasn't had a break down from all the trouble they cause.
She can't help but admire him though, he lead their troops to victory and sent their enemy into retreat during their last battle before returning home. He is going to be the Hokage after Hashirama passes the title to him, and she can't help but over flow with pride.
The two brothers had built this place on nothing but a dream and they would defend it with their lives.
Hiruzen also shared their dream, declaring he was going to be the Hokage one day and bring peace between the warring countries.
Many laughed at him and called him childish, but she believed in him with all she had.
Once they were finished eating they lay back on the grass watching the clouds with dreamy eyes. Hiruzen occasionally pointing out how the one on the far right looked like a turtle with wings, she just giggled and agreed quietly.
Eventually they had to return to the village, and resume preparations for their next assault on the enemy. But for now they enjoyed the calm and each others company. Not knowing when they would next spend time together like this. Moments like these were few and far between.
