This is the third of my mini story drabbles Enjoy.

Defender Trainer

The defenders of Neopia were looking for more people. Hundreds crowded around with their Résumé. The defenders filtered them through a couple at a time.

Inside the neopets were lined up and welcomed to the headquarters and taken through to the training room. Each one was separated and placed near a set of targets and read the paper infront of them.

To be a true member of the defenders of Neopia you must be able to identify neopets, petpets and items in a second's notice. These targets will stay up for a short period of time. You have 3 chances. If you get so many right you will get an extra chance. Good luck.

The first 2 rounds spun by with little difficulty as the pets shot up and you had to find the ones that started with a certain letter and then the petpets where shown with similar questions. Although the defenders did throw in some trick ones like 'Which pet does not begin with the letter B'

Several people dropped out and the next people were bought in.

The next round popped up and a lot of people who got to it couldn't unscramble the anagram of the name quick enough and quickly lost their place.

One grundo shot away through the rounds speeding through the first 4 rounds before reaching the round asking for the pet or petpet with the longest name then followed by the round asking for the pet or petpet with the shortest name.

Not many people made it up to this round and to make it even more difficult they added many more differences to the questions or how the question was shown.

Silhouettes were shown instead of the picture of the pet. The pictures were shrunken and harder to see or they moved around confusing with people as they took aim.

Candidates filtered out and filtered in and eventually six people were left.

The leader of the defenders stood in front of the six pets and nodded to them. "Welcome to the defenders." He stated. "Now a mission for you. A young Acara has had her bike stolen by the Pant devil. Find him and see if you can return the bike to her." He ordered and the six new recruits filtered out through the door.

Next one will most probably be based around meerca chase if I can think of a small story line to go along with it.
