Chapter 1:
It was the dawn of a new day in the Pride Lands, the birds awoke with a joyous song as they raced out to Pride Rock. With their song in the air, the zebra and the antelope awoke to hear the message that the birds were singing.
With overjoyed whinnies and gallops they too raced from the Savannah to Pride Rock. Along the way, the Elephants overheard the news from the antelope and zebra. With joyful trumpeting they marched to Pride Rock.
In a distant tree, the monkeys heard of the birds song but they didn't believe it until the other animals started gathering at Pride quickly jumped from tree to tree to gather at Pride Rock as well.
The Rhinoceros joined the Elephants in their march and joyfully stomped their feet to compliment the Elephants trumpeting.
The cheetahs heard the commotion from far away and they sprinted great distances to join their animal brethren . All the animals gathered around Pride Rock. It was a day of joyous occasion. King Kufuo, born of the great line of Simba, would present his offspring to the herds of animals and give them hope for the future.
With all the animals in attendance, King Kufuo showed himself with a smile on his face and joy in his heart.
All the animals expressed their joy as looked upon their ruler. In the distance an old baboon, walked toward Pride Rock. With her walking stick she scaled the rocks that led up to the peak to greet her ruler.
With joy both the Baboon and the King embraced each other. With that, King Kufuo turned to see his mate, Queen Mihari, licking her two newly born male cubs. King Kufuo and the Baboon walked toward the Queen with a smile on their faces.
The baboon looked upon both of the cubs and grabbed her shook the gourd around both of them. With that she cracked open that same gourd and baptized both of the cubs with the fruit some of the dust from the ground, she spread them upon the cubs to confirm the baptism
King Kufuo and Queen Mihari nuzzled each other affectionately as they allowed the Baboon to take both of the cubs to the peak of Pride Rock.
The Baboon then presented both cubs to the animals of the Pride Lands.
The animals clamored and cheered as they all bowed to the new prince's of Pride Rock.
The clouds parted and sun shined with a glorious light on the cubs.
The Circle of Life has continued....
