"I'm sick of those four so called heroes ruining my struggle for power, if they would only disappear. I need an idea, one final crushing blow to rid myself of them." Dr Doom growled from behind his mask of metal to his trembling assistant across the desk.
"Maybe there might be a way we could plant a mole." He shakily suggested flinching.
"That's it Daniel, crush them from the inside out, and I know exactly who we could use for the job, and how to get her to do such a malice thing. I could give her what she wants more than anything, her freedom from me and my bidding, I shall go have her bribed right away." He laughed and picked up the phone to make his plan go into action.
The next Tuesday welcomed Ben Grimm with an unexpected morning glance out the window.
"Reed, Susan, Johnny, come quick. There's a commotion in the block below." He called loudly over his shoulder not taking his eyes off the street below.
"Oh my, what the hell does he think he's doing? We must get down there immediately." Susannah exclaimed before turning away from the window.
What they were seeing was Dr. Doom up to his no good antics. He held a girl in his grip, and there she was tightly held not allowed to be freed from such a horrible man. She screamed as she tried to fight back as the electricity singed through the air. Johnny leapt into action immediately striding to the balcony where he jumped off into the action below. Bursting into flames he soared around the scene before landing on his feet.
"Hey you Dr. Dim, release that beautiful girl this instant." Johnny demanded before powerfully crossing his arms.
"If you insist." He cackled back before releasing the now unconscious woman, shoving her into Johnny.
Catching her kept him from following in pursuit of Dr. Doom. Instead he gazed down into the fair faced, dark haired lady in his arms.
"What kept you so long, I finished the job and he took off already." Johnny smirked to the other three who ran over to his side.
"But who may this be?" Dr. Richards asked noticing the woman in Johnny's arms.
"Not sure he gave her to me before he fled, we can't just leave her here though for him to come back for her."
"Hmmmm, she seemed to be targeted, perhaps she'll know when she awakens. We shall question her when she wakes up." Susan thought aloud.
"I agree, let's take her home with us." Johnny eagerly stated before leading the was back to the apartment building.
