4th in the Neopets game drabbles
Game Name: Meerca Chase and Neggsweeper
Objective of Game: To catch the neggs that appear while avoiding the red neggs
Objective of game 2: sscout the field and deactivate the bombs
This fanfiction I got the idea from the neopian times issue 202 comic section.
Full originality begins to the author of that comic. I just plan to add more depth to his comic
The meerca dashed about catching the neggs in his little corner of neopia. Yellow neggs, blue neggs, green neggs it didn't matter what colour they were as long as he didn't catch the evil red neggs of doom. Dodging a red negg that fell he spun around and grabbed another negg and continued.
He did this for several more minutes before stopping to take a break. It was time to head home for the night and eat his negg dinner.
As he walked home he saw a negg sitting on the floor
Now this negg hunting Meerca had eyes bigger than his stomach and any negg he saw that wasn't red and ran at it.
Unfortunately for him the stupid game makers had set up the neggsweeper game right near the Negg collecting game known by many as Meerca chase.
So when he ran into the field of Grey neggs he grabbed the first one. The shadow fell from it and the Meerca realised his mistake, unfortunately it would be the last mistake of his for awhile. The negg exploded launching him high into the air. "I DIDN'T EVEN GET TO KEEP MY NEGGS!" The meerca shouted that as he vanished into the red sky of the evening.
Further away in the intermediate Neggsweeper area a JubJub and a baby Lupe with negg detectors heard the small explosion they looked up at the section commonly known as "You are extremely brave to play this difficulty!" before looking at each other.
"Did you hear that?" The lupe asked.
"I didn't hear anything. Why did you hear something?" The JubJub asked.
"Nope now lets finish this game!" The Lupe stated and the two went back to work on their game
