Same place twice
Ichigo was on the patrol in the Real world he had felt a small presence of a hollow but it was a simple one and was easily taken care of. On the way home he walked by the river where his mother died, remembering how she died. He clenched his hands into a fist. But that brought back a different memory
"Ichigo?"
"Yes mom?"
"Do you wanna go to the market?" His mother said with her smile and her strawberry blonde hair blowing slightly with the wind coming from the door
"Sure!" Ichigo said returning a smile, Isshin, Karin, and Yuzu were out going to the park.
They walked hand in hand going towards the outdoor park, the wind blowing in the opposite direction.
They arrived and Ichigo's mother looked at the apples, "Ichigo, you wanna get some tomatoes for me?" She asked
"Sure!" He said as he grabbed a bag from her basket his mother carried and dashed of to one of the stands reading "Fresh veggies"
Ichigo grabbed 3 tomatoes paying attention to see if they were bruised or had dents or bugs had eaten them. Afterwards he looked back to where his mother was and was about to run back to her when, he heard "Got ya!" He looked over from where the voice came from to see a girl with raven hair grabbed at the ankle by a man. The girl had toppled over and now was on the ground. The girl was struggling to get away, she tried to punch the man but she couldn't reach him. She looked older then Ichigo, like she could be in high school. No one else was watching, Ichigo then knew they were probably spirits arguing. He was about to go over when he saw the man be sliced in half from the head down, the man's body then revealed it wasn't his body and inside it was a centipede like monster with a mask. The monster then disintegrated and the girl ran into a nearby alley.
Ichigo then returned to his mother. And placed the tomatoes in the basket, and looked at his mother, remembering how he wanted to protect more people. He gave her a big smile.
Ichigo sighed, if only he was stronger or more careful on that day, that day she died.
Suddenly there was a small spirit pressure of someone he knew, it was Rukia's that was for sure but it was really low, could something have happened? A spirit gate soon appeared and Rukia soon appeared out of it, she looked barely conscious. There was blood coming out of her mouth and cuts all over her body and shinigami uniform. She began falling from the gate.
"Rukia!" Ichigo quickly ran towards where he saw she was going to fall. He caught her in his arms and her eyes narrowly opened. "Ichigo. I was hoping there would be someone here." She said "I'm keeping my promise to him, I didn't die-"
"Don't say that Rukia! We'll get you to Orihime's, she'll heal you real quick!" Ichigo said interrupting Rukia. Rukia shook her head "I'm not gonna make it Ichigo, I just wanna say, I'm leaving my heart to you." Suddenly she was cut again, she gasped at the pain. "Sayonara Ichigo" she said closing her eyes and falling into unconscious. Her body turned into many blue spirit particles from the bottom up to her. "Rukia!" Ichigo grasped her body tighter but it soon was gone, back to the soul society.
This was how it happened to him, at the same place twice, losing a precious person of his.
A/N: do realize this is a one-shot, unless I get like 10 reviews for this one chapter then I'll try to get more Ideas for it and try to make it into more chapters. This one-shot was inspired by episode 231 of the anime of bleach, I've had it in my head since that one came out, and just now decided to finish it. Hope you enjoy it and please review!
