Title: Sync
Note: This chapter was formally published as part of 'Musical Moments', which was a fic made up of separate little stories for each chapter, each in response to Gater 101's Music Challenge. Which involved playing a randomly generated piece of music from your player and writing whatever story comes to mind, but only for as long as the track lasts. It was challenging, but fun and resulted in seven different chapters. As I am thinking of taking some of those little stories further, I need to separate the chapters out. So, sorry for republishing (though it gives me a chance to edit out mistakes!) and sorry for those who were kind enough to leave reviews to 'Musical Moments' as I have now deleted it! I appreciated the reviews and am sorry to remove them. I highly recommend listening to the piece of music listed as you read! Enjoy.

Song: Just like Heaven – by Katie Melua
They moved silently together, flowing through movements they had both been practicing together for years. After so much time training together they moved perfectly in time; every movement precise and slowly executed.
Rodney didn't understand the slow tai chi like movements, all he knew was that they were fighting violent moves hidden within the gliding gentle flowing movements. He watched them, caught up in the beauty of it and in the subtle gentle flow that had them moving totally in sync even though they were not looking at each other.
As she dipped he did, as he turned, she turned, their arms passing within inches of each other. Rodney noticed then that it was sensual in a way he had not seen before - like they were dancing with each other, but never touching.
He hadn't seen Sheppard so quiet, so calmly focused and contented before and Teyla clearly was enjoying herself.
Rodney suddenly felt he was intruding, so he turned and left them to their silent dance.
