1.1 Just Like
Sitting at a table within his lair
a new young student with big brown hair.
Staring at her with such strange wonder
he never realizes he begins to mutter,
"Young, cute, and ready to learn."
Staring out into the herd
he asks a question at which moment
the noise stops completely.
One small hand raised straight into the air.
What a bright little lass,
the Potions Professor thought in despair
as boy with a lightning bolt scar
gently nudged the girl with awe.
Hermione Granger
made life a little stranger,
for Professor Snape
as he thought with an ache,
Young cute, intelligent
and ready to learn more.
She lives in Gryffindor.
She's friends with a Potter
Just like another.
Just like my Lily.
