THE WOLF WHO BECAME A THIEF
A wolf was hungry and couldn't find anything to eat. He saw a flock of sheep but it was guarded by a hound and a shepherd's son who was tending the flock vigilantly. After thinking he came up with a plan to hide himself in a sheep's coat and sneak in the flock. He successfully ate away many sheep because the hound disguised him as a sheep and the shepherd's son was so naive to solve the mystery.

A THIRSTY FOX
A fox was very thirsty on a hot summer day. At last he reached a well in search of water. But fell into it in the attempt of peeping in it. A goat happened to pass by the well but the cunning fox also made her jump in by telling her that the water is very cool.

ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD
A stag was drinking water in a stream and admired his big, magnificent and beautiful horns but condemned his thin and ugly legs. Suddenly, a nearby pack of hounds began to chase him but he left them far behind because of his thin but fast legs. He caught his big horns in a bush which bought time to the hounds. He tried to escape but all in vain. Soon enough the hounds caught him and tore him to pieces.

NEVER GIVE UP / (STRIVE OR STRUGGLE) NEVER FAILS
The ruler Scotland King Robert Bruce had lost many battles. The time when he was losing a battle against the English he ran away and hid in a cave. There was no hope of winning this time. He suddenly saw a spider climbing up to reach his cobweb but was failing despite making several attempts. But he never gave up and at last reached his home in the ninth attempt. The king was inspired by this, so he went back to the battlefield and won the war this time, with a little effort.
