This was originally part of a story, but the story went nowhere so I decided to turn it into a simple one shot. There are others as well.

"I'm sorry Buffy you can't stay here any more," says Dawn.

Buffy is about to respond when she hears, Honey come home.

She smiled and looks up, "Okay I'll be right there."

Kennedy looks at her, "What the hell are you talking about?"

Buffy roles her eyes, "Well I wasn't talking to you. I wasn't exactly talking to Hell." Baby please come home, I promise it will be worth it. "I like the way that sounds. I'll be right there."

This time Willow speaks, "Buffy do you even know what you are saying?"

"Of course I do. Do you remember when I would disappear for weeks at a time?" Willow nods so she continues, "well I was going home, to Heaven." Buffy then heads to the front door. As she grabs the knob she asks, "Did you really think the powers that be would just let me come back to Earth after I died?"

She walks out of the house and on to the path leading to the sidewalk. All of the Scoobies and potentials come running to the door. Dawn shouts, "Buffy wait!" Buffy turns around. Just as Dawn was about to speak shimmering lights can be seen surrounding Buffy. Soon a body starts to form.

As the body was finishing its change into a corporeal state everyone could hear, "Baby please. I am so close to just dragging you away. It has been way too long. Please come with me." The body finally became corporeal. Her hands wrapped around Buffy's Waist and her chin on Buffy's shoulder. Buffy turns around and pulls the woman into a passionate kiss.

Willow gasps, "Tara?"

"Hey Willow," Tara answers breaking the kiss and resumes the position she was in before.

"When?"

"When what? Oh this," she gestures to herself and Buffy. Willow nods. "Well after I first left you because of you violating my mind. I kept in touch with Buffy. We grew really close. We started dating in secret. She explained her whole situation to me. Then I learned you gave up magic and felt I owed you another chance. I told Buffy I had to. I owed it to you and me. She understood. Then I got shot and I realized where my heart truly belonged. I told Buffy on one of her check-ins. We were both happy beyond belief. We rekindled our relationship. Now you guys kicked her out. Now I can have her back for good."

Buffy adds, "Are you ready babe because you getting all possessive and I'm hers is making me very, very…" Buffy whispers the last word in Tara's ear, "wet."

Tara can only nod. She takes Buffy's hand and the two start walking towards the road. Eventually they turn in to shimmering lights and begin to ascent. They leave the Scoobies and potentials in awe.

Faith in a very Faith way states, "We just had an angel willing to help us and you all fucked it up." She walks back into the house.

Xander says what everyone is thinking, "Shit."
