Buffy had just walked out of the house. Faith had done her little not a democracy speech. She had sent all the scoobies after Buffy so she could be sure she was alright. The scoobies had come back into the house. Faith looked at them, "Did you find her?" Dawn ran upstairs with tears streaming down her face. Willow ran to Kennedy and buried her face in her shoulder. Xander held Anya very closely.

Xander spoke up, "Yeah we found her."

"Well, how is she? Where is she?"

"She… She is… She's…"

"Spit it out already."

"She killed herself."

Xander looked towards the ground, "She slit her throat at the graveyard a block over." Kennedy tightened her arms around Willow as she continued to cry.

Faith looked at the stairs and then back at the group. "Can someone go check on Dawn? B would kill me if I let anything happen to her. Vi and Rona nod and then run up the stairs. Two minutes later shouting can be heard from where they went. Faith runs up the stairs and to Buffy's old room where she heard the shouting come from. Kennedy and the scoobies were not far behind her fearing what could have happened to Dawn. As soon as they made it in the door Xander fainted at the sight.

Vi and Rona were lying Dawn down on Buffy's bed. They began to remove the sheet that was tied around her neck.

Faith looked at the two girls and asks, "Is she…?" Vi shakes her head as Rona takes another sheet and drapes it over Dawn. Then with shaking hands Rona hands a note to Faith.

Buffy was the only family I had left in the world and you guys made her leave. You turned me against her and it killed her. I should have stuck up for her no matter what because that is what sisters do. It's what she did for me when she jumped off the tower for me. It's what she would have done if our situations had been reversed. I can't live anymore knowing that it is my fault she is dead. She taught me everything I needed to know. She has sacrificed everything for me. Buffy, Mom, here I come! We will all be together again soon.

Dawn

Kennedy pulled Willow out of the room and together Anya and Faith dragged Xander out. Vi and Rona left last shutting the door behind them. All of the other potentials had gathered around the foot of the stairs to find out what happened. They want to hear that Dawn was just really upset and couldn't contain her emotions about Buffy's suicide. Instead all they hear from an emotionless Faith is, "Go get Buffy's body and we'll bury them both in the morning." Not a single noise could be heard in the house after that.

Buffy was sitting in the blissful dark void when she was suddenly pulled into what looked like her house. She was confused because she was looking in on a situation rather than being in it.
