Hi, this is a entry for CameronNinjaDragons' weekly writing challenge! Please, don't freak out at the end!
These incompetent fools never even saw me coming. Why would they have? I just needed to get rid of the Overlord and the only person that was suspicious of me was Zane, but the power of manipulation was stronger. That stupid robot! He wasn't so smart! Why else would he have fallen for my trap? The Overlord was merely a distraction from the real evil that was rising.
I looked over my city, which was shrouded in darkness and shadows. I gave a sinful smirk and pulled my hood off my head. My green eyes moved across the landscape that was being destroyed by my golden soldiers. A dragon wasn't the only thing I could create.
I could have destroyed the Overlord long ago but that would have caused Zane to figure out what was happening. Luckily he was too loyal towards his fellow ninja and did my dirty work for me. Bloody idiot. The only real thing that I could have nether predicted, was my father becoming good...
Six bodies appeared from behind some scattered rubble. I alerted the nearest golden soldier. All of them instantly advanced toward the fighting ninja. I scowled and and started walking back to my camp.
Fools! They all are fools! The whole lot of them! We could have taken over Ninjago side by side; instead they sought to oppose me. They know they could never kill me, much less stop me from unleashing my tyranny on the whole Ninjago.
I looked back at the landscape where there were six multicolored tornados were fighting my soldiers and as usual; I was winning!
Serves them right for shunning me when I was a kid. Luckily after the Tomorrow's tea, a whole new world opened for me. I could feel my power inside me and it was terrifyingly strong, but I won't make the same mistake as my father. He was short-sighted, he never saw the other possibilities he could have done to take over Ninjago. I never wanted to be like my father!
A snap, of what sounded like a twig, made me turn around. There was my father holding a katar to my neck.
I looked in fear and concern at the new ruler of Ninjago. My son. The only one who could have saved this land is busy destroying it. I really didn't want to hurt him but I had no choice. He has killed millions of humans and creatures alike. The final battle was between Lloyd and I, except he was the great evil.
He started to smile as I held the katar up to his neck. He didn't even flinch when I pressed the blade a bit harder against his skin.
After three years, two new ninja and countless attempts to prevent my son from doing any harm; this is were we end up. Me trying to kill him with the Katar of Legends.
My now blue eyes reflected in his green ones. I had to do it now or we would be under his rein till the end of time. With tears streaming down my face, I dropped the blade and fell to my knees. I couldn't do it, not to my own son.
He laughed menacingly and picked up the katar. He said something I couldn't make out, then a fierce shooting pain went through my body. The last thing I saw was someone in green screaming, before it went all black...
