Hello! Well I know I still have my other fic (The Swan and The Scribe) that has yet to be finished but…I've been working on this one for quite some time and since I'm going to be graduating in a couple of days I figured why not? So here is the prologue to this multi-chapter fic. MOST of the story is written/planned out (hence the reason why I've haven't posted it until now.) BUT it's all still a work in progress. All mistakes are mine, the characters are not.
Long Ago...
Long ago, there was a ruthless pirate captain. He ruled over the seas sending soldiers back home with their tails in between their legs, stealing from cargo ships and becoming the most feared captain that ever lived. They said he was centuries old, that he was working towards a life long revenge on the most powerful sorcerer that the realms has ever seen.
But as the years passed, the captain fell into a deeper and deeper despair, his misery dulled by the bitter taste of rum. They say that he wasn't always like that; that he was once a man in love. That was ages ago. Now he lived his life going through the motions; only going ashore to restock and fulfill his sexual needs. He believed to be cursed for eternity, to be alone and never feel anything again. As time past, the sneered remarks that were muttered when they thought he wasn't listening, he started to believe them. He was destined to live alone, to never receive a drop of love, sympathy, or remorse again. For he had lost all hope. For who could ever learn to love a beast?
A heads up that it might be a while before I post the first chapter, but it shall be posted eventually. Sorry it's short but I'd like to think it's a bitter-sweet beginning. Also each chapter is titled after a Disney song! Reviews, follows and favorites are welcome!
