The rusty old yellow truck drove across town and into a dirt road that lead up to a cliff. This was Keith's spot, where he would look at the other end a place they called the brick. Look at all those people having a jolly good time, thinking that they have all the time in the world. Sometimes he envied them; sometimes he pitied them, wasting their time. They would never know how precious time was, but he knew perfectly well.

Time is a monster that slowly eats you whole till you're just a memory, a pile of dust ready to be blown away into the wind. "Keith you okay?" Natalie slowly crept up beside him, "Just jolly partner." He answered with a sigh, Natalie seeing him being slightly tensed tried to lighten the mood. "You know they're not all that great." Suddenly feeling annoyed he turned back and headed to the truck. "Hey! What's the matter with you?" Now he was passed the truck, hands in his pockets walking along the dirt road ignoring Natalie's calls "Keith! Keith!" she finally caught up to him and stood her ground in front of him "Keith what's wrong with you!" daring himself not to look at her "You want to know what's wrong with me huh?" now looking her straight with a serious look on his face. A slight feeling of fear entered Natalie as she saw his expression, but her compassion overlooked it "Yes, I do tell me please Keith." Biting his lip to suppress his growing impatience, "There are a lot of things wrong with me."

Tears started to stream down her cheek, she grasps his hand and gripped his hair with her free hand. "Tell me please, I care about you." "Do you? Do you really?" not fully convinced, she chocked out a sob "Yes… yes I do." Searching her eyes for any deceit he found none, he couldn't think of any else better to do than pull her close and kiss her. The kiss wasn't perfect but the two showed each other how much they cared for each other. For all they knew, that's all that really mattered now.
