I don't own Harry Potter.
Sleep
It had been a mistake. Yes. That was right. Just a mistake. Obviously, he hadn't meant to trip, coincidentally splashing Potter with his completed potion. A de-aging potion. Which promptly turned Potter into a five year old child, who looked around in wonder, but also in fear, and hid under a desk.
No, it had been an accident.
That didn't mean that he, Draco, was to be let off the hook, apparently.
The old codger that he was, Dumbledore had decided it would be a suitable punishment for Draco to take care of the little child until Snape could figure out a cure. And who knew how long that would take?
That night, Draco woke up from his sound slumber to Potter's screams. He was having a nightmare. Pfft.
Draco did not gently wake Potter up. Did not coddle him, soothe him, and tell him everything would be alright.
No, he cast Avada Kedavra and went back to sleep.
