Heroes don't steal

Robin's fingers twitched as he picked up the stolen necklace Jinx had dropped. The 'sapphire pearl' as referred to by the public.A centuries old, shinning silver necklace encrusted with diamonds and a large sapphire pearl as the center jewel. It was worth millions of dollars and was last owned by Lady Evelyn before her great-great-great-great-great grandson sold it to the jump city museum.

Robin had absolutely no interest in the necklace. Neither did he have a use for it, but he still grasped it tightly between his fingers, fighting the overpowering urge to slip it into his pocket. Just to see if he could get away with it.

Handing it over to the police was almost impossible. His mind said no, his fingers said no, but there it was. The gorgeous, historical artifact being handled so carelessly by the grubby, sweaty, disgusting police man.

" Hey Rob,you OK?" Called Cyborg from the sidelines

Snapping out of his trance of inner thoughts, Robin smiled over at his friends breaking eye contact with the gem.

" Just a little tired. Now,who wants pizza?" Boy Wonder's statement was meet with loud cheers from his team mates. Ignoring the cries in his head to look back on the crime scene, back at the marvelous jewel he let slip through his fingers; Robin simply climbed in the T-car,faced forward and engaged himself in his team mates talk of video games.

After all, Heroes don't steal.
