Peanut Ronde with Ginger Soup

KHR 6927 drabble
The snow started to fall down, as if welcoming both boys walking opposite of each other.
Somewhere in Japan, a place surrounded by nothing but Bamboo.
Today is in the early of December, but nowhere near Christmas. In this day, there's a promise of rendezvous made between two boys.
A promise made inside a dream.
Mukuro, Blue and Red eyes, stared at Tsuna's Honey-Brown ones.
"You came."
Tsuna, uncertain and feeling as if he wants to chew his hands off, glance timidly towards the older boy.
"I... didn't think I would, though."
They both had stopped in the middle of the Bamboo forest, Mukuro had never taken his eyes off Tsuna the entire time the boy appeared in his eyes.
"W-what is it, Mukuro?" Tsuna questioned, still with a nervous look.
"I wonder... why do you decided to come, Tsunayoshi-kun?" Mukuro was curious, "for all you know, our conversation could have been nothing but a dream."
Tsuna's cheek began to redden due to the increasing coldness and he rubbed his hands to keep himself warm.
"I... I just got the feeling that it was real. You. And our encounter then..." by the time he completed his sentence, his face become redder by ten times and he completely avoids looking anywhere near Mukuro.
Oh no... some scenes from his subconsciousness that one time is waving again inside his memory... and it made him furiously embarrassed just by remembering it.
On the other hand, Mukuro seemed to find Tsuna's reaction amusing. He brought his mitten-covered right hand to his chin.
"Kufufu... is that so?" he chuckled, as he stared curiously. "I'm honored that you remember it, Tsunayoshi-kun."
Tsuna slowly peeked up to Mukuro. He smiled shyly and then cast his gaze away again.
"Well then... where shall we go first?" the older boy kind of asked a rhetorical question.
Mukuro's grin become wider as he felt the boy yelped when he grabbed Tsuna's arm. But what makes him happier was, when he felt no resistance from Tsuna as they walked away from the Bamboo forest, hand by hand.
"Um... maybe-um, we can start by eating something warm?" a bit stammering, Tsuna suggested.
"Oh, that's right," Mukuro seemed perked up when Tsuna mention this, "Ken and Chikusa mentioned something about a store that serves delicious peanut ball with ginger soup the other day. I suppose we can stop by and try some to see it for ourselves?"
Although still rather nervous (like he always does when Mukuro is around), Tsuna managed to raise an eyebrow at hearing the odd menu.
"What? Peanut ball with ginger soup? I've never heard of that," he admits.
Through the rest of the night, Mukuro always makes sure that their hand stay connected to each other, as they visit various places. And Tsuna was surprised when he tasted the menu Mukuro mentioned earlied (peanut ball with ginger soup). He smiled sweetly as it melted warmly inside his mouth.
AN: so I'd like to think of this drabble as a "warm up". I haven't written a fic in so long. Though still rather far from my expectations, I still have to publish this. Oh, and about the title of this drabble... well, actually it was from a snack from East Java, Ronde Kacang (peanut ronde). Peanut covered in flour, made into small balls, and is served inside a hot Ginger soup. It's deliciously spicy, made you warm especially on cold rainy days-or in this case, snowy night. Heehee.
Review for better and worse!
