My family tree was huge, and few of my family were called freaks of nature. I'm one of the few. I have gifts, well gift really. I have a power to sense demons and get rid of them. I speak like them, but with my voice with the sound of a demons voice. It's weird, I know. But... it's true and it's so weird that I was the one person in the family to have more than just the ability to destroy the demons. Like I said, I can speak to them as well. I am and will be the only one in the family that will ever be able to speak to demons.
Since, of course, I am a girl, the family name Swan ends with me. That also means that the child that I might or will have, may or may not have the same ability.
My dad's yell and mumbled curse made me jump out of my seat, hand on my heart. I ran down the stairs, all but forgetting my thoughts, " Dad, you okay?" I asked popping into the kitchen.
" Yeah. I'm fine. Just dropped my coffe." I giggled. The way he always dropped his coffe mug, you'd think his real name used to be clutzilla. " Well I'ma go get ready for school now." I ran out of the kitchen as fast as I could run.

When I got out of my truck, everyone stared at me. " Can I help you?" I shouted. They all looked away. I rolled my eyes and walked to my first period class.

All my classes passed by without event as usaul. Just a couple whispers that I over-heard. " Bella Swan, the principal needs you in her office." Mrs. Cope said over the intercom. I sighed and walked towards the office, " She's in her office." I nodded and walked into the office. " Ms. Swan, I need you to show Mr. Cullen around the school and show him to all of his classes." she said as soon as I walked through the door.
" Sure." I looked over to the boy sitting in the foldable chairs and I stopped breathing, " Come on." I said in a quivering voice. He stood and quickly walked to my side, " I'm Edward Cullen." He said in a velvet like voice. I didn't look away from his golden eyes, " I'm Bella Swan." He smiled again.
I shook my head and and looked back up at him, " Let me see your schedule." He handed me the white piece of paper and put his hands in his pockets.
