Return to the Falls Pt 1
It has been a Year since the Pine Twins saved Gravity Falls from the horrors of Weirdmaggedon and defeated the evil Bill Cipher. Now Dipper and Mabel are returning to the falls to see everyone but unknown to them something evil is waiting for their return…
The twins are on the bus on the way to Gravity Falls they are super excited about seeing all of their friends again they are talking to each other about who they will meet when they arrive.
"Man I am so hyped to see everyone again" A young girl in a sweater says talking to her twin brother.
"I know what you mean Mabel, it's been a year I wonder how much things have changed" The young boy says answering his twin sister.
"Are you guys heading to Gravity Falls?" A voice comes from behind them.
Turning to look behind them they see another young boy on his own with luggage around him. He looks slightly worried and scared.
"Yeah it's our second visit to Gravity Falls since we saved it last year!" Mabel pipes up talking to the lonely lad.
"Saved it?" The boy says looking puzzled.
"Yeah we saved…mmmmf" Mabel goes to say but her brother Dipper puts his hand over her mouth.
"What my sister means to say is Hi, my name is Dipper and this is my sister Mabel" Dipper says politely.
"Oh where are my manners, sorry my name is Michael and this is my first visit to Gravity Falls"
"Well you should stick with us then we would be happy to show you around when we get there" Mabel says getting Dippers hand off her mouth.
"Thank you it's not easy to make friends you know" Michael says shyly.
"So what brings you to the falls?" Dipper asks the new friend.
"I…" Michael goes to say only to be interrupted by the bus driver's voice.
"Last Stop Gravity Falls everybody off!" He shouts.
"Hey if you're not in any hurry how about joining us at the shack?" Mabel quickly says offering the young man an invitation to join her and Dipper.
"Wow I would love that but I have to get to my cousins place hopefully we can meet and chat again later?" Michael says with a smile.
"Sure you can visit us anytime" Mabel says with a wink.
As the twins and the young man disembark from the bus they begin to walk away when Dipper notices something on the young man's bag.
"Hey that looks like the tent of telepathy sign!" Dipper says pointing out the symbol.
"Huh? Oh yeah it's my cousins thing my parents just love him for some reason or another.
"Wait that means your cousin is Lil Gideon!?" Dipper and Mabel say in unison.
"Yeah you guys know my cousin then?" Michael says pleased that the twins know his famous cousin.
"Oh man, just when I thought I had found a new dreamboat I find out he is related to Gideon of all people." Mabel says dejectedly.
"Is something wrong?" Michael says picking up on the bad vibes between the twins and his cousin.
"No it's cool man we just got to get moving nice meeting you" Dipper says quickly and ushering his sister away from Michael.
"Wow who knew that Gideon had a Cousin!" Dipper says as he and Mabel begin their walk to the Mystery Shack.
"You mean a hunky cousin right" Mabel says gleefully.
"Oh don't tell me you're going to start that again this summer!" Dipper whines at his sister.
"Start what?" Mabel says all innocent.
"A summer romance?" Dipper says with a raised eyebrow.
"Ok I won't start a summer romance if you don't obsess over Wendy this summer" Mabel says with a smirk.
"Oh fine you have your summer romance then" Dipper says defeated.
"Don't mind if I do!" Mabel says happily as they continue the walk to the shack.
As they walk through the town something feels very off and looking around the twins can't help but feel a sense of foreboding.
"Where is everyone?" Dipper says a hint of concern in his voice.
"Maybe they are all at the shack planning a surprise party for us?" Mabel says trying to convince Dipper that everything is ok.
"Something is definitely not right here!" Dipper says looking around the town.
"Aww you're just being too paranoid Dipper remember everything went back to normal after we defeated Bill" Mabel says trying to keep up hers and her brother's spirits.
"Hey look we made it there the shack…" Mabel begins to say but stops mid-sentence.
In front of them the Mystery Shack is in ruins. The roof is caved in the door is missing and it looks like it could collapse at any moment.
"What happened here?" Dipper says extremely concerned for his missing friends.
"So no surprise party then?" Mabel says sadly.
"Mabel something happened here the Mystery Shack is in ruins and everyone in the town is missing" Dipper says trying to tell his sister to see the bigger picture.
"Well well still clever aren't we pine tree!" A voice calls out at Dipper from inside the forest.
"Wait that voice it can't be!" Dipper says looking horrified.
"Did you really think defeating me would be that easy kid?" the voice continues to mock Dipper.
"How is that possible you were erased from existence!" Dipper says looking around the area for the source of the voice.
"Dipper that voice it can't be!" Mabel gets close to her brother.
"Oh but it is shooting star!" the voice is louder now.
"What have you done with our friends Bill!" Dipper says trying to be brave.
"Hahaha, oh you still don't get it do you?" the voice of Bill Cipher says.
"Get what you pointy jerk!?" Mabel says trying to be brave with Dipper.
"You erased my mind but that was all you did however what you didn't know is that I killed Time Baby therefore making me master of time as well!" Bill begins to say.
"Wait WHAT?" Dipper says angrily.
"Heh, don't worry it will all become clear soon Pine Tree!" Bill says as his voice fades out.
