"SEBASTIAN! SEBASTIAN I'M NOT HAPPY WITH YOU!"

Sebastian cautiously opened the door, not having seen his master this angry since the time his family heirloom ring broke thanks to Elizabeth's tantrum and the time he'd had to stop Ciel from repeatedly stabbing Alois Trancy more than once. What he saw made his eyes immediately go soft. There on Ciel's desk sat a light sandy coloured cat with icy blue eyes, calmly licking it's paw while the young Earl behind it looked freaked out as if never having seen one before, backed up in his chair as far as he could be. He glared at Sebastian and pointed at the cat, quickly bringing his hand away as the creature playfully swiped at it.

"I'm afraid I do not understand why you are angry with me, Young Master, I have not seen this cat before in my life, nor do I know where it may have come from or who it belongs to or how it got into your office".

"Tch. Just get rid of it".

"Yes Young Master". Sebastian neared the cute little feline but when it noticed him getting closer, it stood up and hissed dangerously, lashing it tail as if warding him away from Ciel and itself. "I won't hurt you. He might if we don't get you somewhere safe, little one".

The cat hissed once more and then turned to jump into Ciel's lap, making the boy stiffen, and proceeded to curl up happily. Ciel glared at Sebastian. "Get rid of it..." he hissed himself.

Sebastian reached out to wrap his fingers round the cat's middle and lift it, but it was sneaky and dug it's claws into Ciel's shorts, not too much to pinprick him, but still enough for Sebastian to fail picking it up. It seemed to purr in amusement once the butler let go, defeated with a sigh. "I am sorry Young Master but it seems he really likes you".

"Well I don't like it".

"I cannot remove it, Young Master, cats are very territorial. Sorry". Sebastian kept his smirk hidden until Ciel begrudgingly dismissed him and he left the room.

Ciel glared down at the cat that had decided to turn towards him and nuzzle his hand, licking his fingers. Ciel suppressed a shudder and slowly stroked his fingers through the cat's sandy fur, making it purr and close it's eyes. He looked at the dreaded feline and noticed something. Light sandy fur and icy blue eyes. Where had he seen that combination before...? ...Oh. Oh no. Oh dear God, no. It...It couldn't be. But...But he's dead! Ciel threw his head back as the cat continued to purr.

Alois Trancy had found a way to haunt him in death too it seemed - living the life of a stray cat that was now curled contently in his lap.
