Meenah looked out across the cold Alternian ocean. Bitterness and loneliness were crashing down around her just as much as the ocean waves were.
She screamed. She grabbed handfuls of sand and rocks and flung them at the ocean. She punched the sand. She didn't notice the streaks of tyrian purple streaming down her face.
Meenah dove into the water. Her heart was breaking, and she could feel the tendrils of Gl'bgolyb's mind reaching out to her, concerned and caring. She swam through the waves faster than she ever had before, and accidentally crashed into a young seadwelling troll playing with his lusus. He cried out as Meenah grabbed him roughly and slammed him into a large rock. Violet blood leaked out of a deep cut on his arm and she spat at him contemptuously.
"G-ET OUTTA T) (-E WAY!" She snarled. "Next time I'll feed your fuckin lusus to Gl'bgolyb! Got it, s) (rimp?"
He nodded, terrified. Meenah shot him one last glare and continued on her way. She barreled through the ocean, sea creatures scattering in her wake. Eventually, she reached her lusus. Her palace wasn't far away, but she couldn't care less about that. She swam straight into Gl'bgolyb's writhing tentacle arms, which immediately wrapped around her.
"T) (ey don't like me!" Meenah sobbed. "None of 'em do! T) (ey're scared a me!" Gl'bgolyb's embrace was warm and soft, and she vibrated softly with empathy. The loneliness of being an outcast was something Gl'bgolyb was long acquainted with and she had hoped the young troll would never experience it.
"I'll kill 'em!" The young troll clung to her lusus and wept as pain wormed it's way into her heart. It would take root and stay there forever.
