After the Eli Vance's death, Gordon said to Alyx"we need to go the borealis, to avenge you're father's death!"Gordon tried to calm down Alyx by saying that apparently it works! Alyx instantly go to Helicopter and said to Gordon "you coming?" Gordon said "yes" with a smirk.
After the Incident, Alyx and Gordon get in to the Helicopter and start the Engine, with that, they will go to Borealis at the Antarctica.
At the near destination, the Combines saw them and shoot them using Arsenal of Weaponry that they have. The Helicopter is on crash landing and Gordon accidently been thrown out from the Helicopter and hit his head at the Ice, Gordon got unconscious when in Impact, Alyx found him and Brought him to the nearest Rebel Shelter.
Gordon wakes up at the Shelter, it was abandoned, and weaponry of the previous Rebels was found. Gordon asking to himself saying "oh god, what happen here!" an old man
Comes out from a Mysterious place and said to him "doctor, this is an abandoned place. You need to get out here, NOW!" Gordon said to him " But how about Al-" Old man said to him "she's alright, you will find her, but before this place got raid. You need to get o-"the Old man was shot to the Chest by a Combine who's behind him. Gordon surprised, at panic, He throws a Super kick to the Soldier's Chest and takes the Magnum at the Soldier's hold.
He ran to the nearest cave that he found, he shouts "Alyx!" there's no response to the inside so, in instinct Gordon comes inside the cave, it was filled with rotten corpses and blood stains all over the place and he founds a Crowbar underneath a drawer in name of "Barnabus",he never heard that name. a Zombie comes out to him and Gordon got surprise and whack the Zombie using a Crowbar, blood splats all over the ceiling and all over the floor, Gordon get out to the open Antarctica and realized that he's still in middle of the search, so he search for Alyx at other place
He walks from the Rebel Shelter to the Borealis, near Borealis there's a Firefight, he thinking there's must be Alyx or any Rebel there, and so he goes to there.
Alyx saw a man and she shouts "Gordon!" and he shouts"What!" he ran to there and Alyx said to him "I thought you were gone, but you still ali-"a man shouts to her "you're on the honeymoon eh! God, help us please!"
So the Firefight goes from the Combine to the Rebels and unsurprisingly, the Combine was on major problem.
A Combine tries to run away, but Gordon shoots him at the head using a Sub-Machine gun.
After the Combine massacre, the man who shouts Alyx said these to Gordon "I'm sorry doctor, but this is very dangerous to everyone, even you got the Suit. Did you have the gravity gun?"
Gordon says "of course, they were dropped near my bed that I was rested." The man says "alright, it will help a lot in your Journey; we will stay on here, in case the Combines return."
Gordon and Alyx walk away from the Rebels and goes to the Borealis.
