"Hey Riku!" Sora said, running across the bridge on Destiny Islands to find Riku on the sideways tree. Riku looked away from the sunset to smile at Sora. "Hey." he said before turning to back to look at the sunset. Sora jumped up on the tree.

"Hey Sora?" Riku asked. "Yeah?" Sora responded. "I, need to tell you something." Riku said. Sora got serious. "What is it Riku?" he asked. "I, I really like you Sora, but more then just my friend." Riku said. Sora looked up at Riku before his mom called.

"Hello?" Sora asked.

"Get your ass home! You didn't clean your room!" Sora's mom yelled.

"I'm on my way." Sora said before hanging up.

Sora looked at Riku, not sure at all about what he should say. "I, I have to go." he said before hopping off the tree. He quickly ran away.

After Sora finished cleaning his room, he laid on his bed. "Riku likes me? I thought he liked Kairi. HELL, I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HE WAS GAY! Or, maybe he's bi… what ever. Do I like him back?" Sora thought before drifting asleep.

The Next Day

"I'm so stupid!" Riku yelled at himself. "Why did I tell him? I've just ruined a perfect friendship." he whispered sadly. Riku looked at the knife in his hands. He slowly pressed it his skin, barley hard enough to brake it. Crimson liquid gathered on the blade as he slid the knife across.

"Riku?" Sora said, knocking on the door. Riku quickly hid the knife under the blanket on the couch. The last thing he expected was Sora to show up at his door. Riku looked quickly for something to cover up the cut. Deciding he didn't have enough time to look for a cuff, Riku ran into his room and threw on a long sleeved shirt. "It'll have to do." Riku thought before walking back into the living room and tried to act normal.

"Come in Sora." Riku said. "Hey." Sora said, walking into the living room. "Hey." Riku said. Sora sat next to Riku. "Can you hold still for a minute? Oh, and close your eyes." Sora said. "Okay…" Riku said slowly, wondering why Sora wanted him to close his eyes.

Sora smiled as Riku shut his eyes. He nervously bit his lip before leaning in and kissing Riku.

Riku was surprised to feel Sora's lips on his. He began to kiss back though. Riku wrapped his hand around Sora's neck. Sora let his eyes slide shut. He jumped back a bit when he felt something else on his bottom lip.

"Sorry. I'm going to fast, aren't I?" Riku asked. Sora's cheeks turned a bright red. "Now. You just, surprised me." Sora said, looking to the side in a small attempt to hide his bright blush. Riku placed his hand under Sora's chin. He guided Sora's head so that Sora could see he wide smirk. "Wanna try again?" he said before pressing his lips to Sora's. Sora melted into the kiss. This time, when Riku's tongue pressed on his bottom lip, he let it in his mouth.

Riku snaked on of his hands around Sora's waist. He placed the other on the back of Sora's neck. The two of them melted together in their kiss. Sora leaned back a bit onto the blanket on the couch. He quickly went back up, crashing into Riku. Riku pulled away from Sora. "What's wrong?" he asked. "Something sharp just poked my butt." Sora said before lifting up the blanket.

Sora pulled out the knife and looked at it disbelief. "Ku?" Sora asked with large watery eyes. "Di-did you-" Sora began stuttering. Riku put his head down in shame. "Why?" Sora choked out. "I-umm I thought that I ruined our friendship." Riku admitted. "You couldn't lose me if you tried." Sora said, a smile now on his face.

"Promise?" Riku asked.

"Promise." Sora said before placing a light kiss on Riku lips.
