So the mention of D-3's made me want to write some Takesuke.

It's probably only about Takeru and Hikari's D-3's (them having D-3's - with 02 supposendly 'not' existing - is absolutely retarded and if thats the case, they better have a reasonable explanation as to how they got D-3's but the rest of the 'original' group didn't).

That being written... enjoy some Takesuke! :)

Alone

Daisuke sighed as he looked up from his homework to find Takeru busily looking at his D-3 as his Digimon partner, Patamon, mock wrestled with Chibimon on the blonde's bed.

"What's wrong?" the redhead had to ask as he put his pen down. "Is it ... the Digital World ... again?"

"Yes ... but..." Takeru suddenly looked pained and Daisuke smiled wryly.

"But they don't need our help then?" he asked simply, standing up. "It's alright, Takeru. I will still be here when you get back." he smiled as the blonde walked over to him and hugged him hard, burying his head into the other's neck.

"I'm sorry... Gennai specified the original group only..." he whispered as he felt Daisuke run his hands through his hair. "Hikari-chan is supposed to come and pick ... us ... up soon."

"Like I said, it's fine." Daisuke pulled away to poke the other's chest. "The Digital World needs you now... I... even if I'm not needed anymore, I will still support you in any way, shape or form I can. We will." he added, throwing a glance at Chibimon as he kept playing like the innocent baby he was. "You are not leaving me forever so there is no need to worry."

"Daisuke..."

"It's fine." his boyfriend grinned. "I won't be alone. Chibimon will be keeping me some company until everyone returns. I wish you a safe trip ... so please, for the love of the Digital World, be careful. Come back to me in one piece, okay?"

Takeru chuckled. "I promise." he leaned down to peck him just as Hikari opened the door and shot him a sad look.

"Takeru-kun... we have to go... ehm..." she waved at Daisuke, sheepish as Tailmon began to drag Patamon out of the room. "We..."

"I don't like repeating myself. As my best friend, you should know that." the redhead winked at her as he watched the four of them leave the room. He bit his lower lip, still tasting Takeru on them, as he picked up Chibimon.

"Come on, Chibimon, let's go home."

- line break -

He stood near the radio tower with Takeru's parents, Chibimon in his arms, as they stared up at the grotesque view of the Digital World as it was now, influenced by whatever evil was plaguing it this time.

"Does this mean that they will be coming back here for the final battle?" the blonde's mother inquired.

"Possible, they did do that six years ago..." his father replied.

"All that we can do..." Daisuke began, causing both parents to look at him in question, as his hold on a sleeping Chibimon thightened. "... is believe in them and their Digimon. And help if we can."

"How can you be so certain, Daisuke-kun?" his mother asked, blinking slightly.

"Because I believe in Takeru and Patamon... no, I believe in them all." he smiled at them. "After all, they would never let us, this world or the Digital World down..." he looked back up again. "They wouldn't..."

'Takeru, please, wherever you are... be safe... remember the promise you made me. Not only for my sake but for your parents as well... I ...' a lone tear trailed down his face as he began to pray for their return.

He was the embodiment of Miracles after all. Someone had to be and if that had to be him, he would be.

With no regrets.

So yes, not sure how this came to be... I will leave the rest for you guys to think through ;)

Thank you for reading!
