"Ok! Keep your balance Cassie! I'm gonna throw a punch," Ben said as he was practicing with his friend.
"I'm ready Ben!"
"And I'm ready too!" Tyina smiled.
"Ben, I don't know if this is a good idea," Blitzwolfer said, now a bit on edge. Cassie recently had been injured fighting Zombozo and it made him nervous that she was practicing again.
"And be careful with Tyina; she has been fighting with Vilgax' creeps and she has a large bruise on her back," Shocks said softly.
"Don't worry…I'm a professional guys," Ben chuckled. But what he didn't bank on was both girls not ducking in time and he sent a kick that sent both of them flying!
"OH MY GOSH! ARE YOU GUYS OK!" Ben screamed, running towards them.
"TYINA!" Shocks bellowed.
"CASSIE!" Blitz yelled and both jumped ahead of Ben to see about their young ones. Cassie and Tyina were slowly waking up and Ben was relieved, but before he could do anything, he jumped back as two angry aliens backed him up.
"Don't get any closer Ben," Blitz growled.
"You've done enough," Shocks hissed.
"But it was an accident; I just wanted to show them…"
"Show them moves that were too advanced…" Shocks growled.
"It was not on purpose!" Ben pleaded.
"You need to be more careful!" Blitz added angrily. At that moment, Four Arms walked in and saw the commotion.
"Woah, slow down there guys, what's going on?" Four Arms asked. Once they explained, he did look at Ben a bit sternly.
"Ben, those moves were too advanced for them; next time, try a lower level of experience," Four Arms said, albeit gently. But at this point, Ben threw his hands up in defeat.
"I am sorry guys ok! And just to prove it I'm gonna go and get ready to go back to Headquarters," Ben said, clearly sorrowful and frustrated. All of their eyes widened in surprise; Ben did not usually like going to headquarters unless it was very important. Four Arms at that point tried to reach out to grab his shoulder, but Ben moved a bit too fast.
"Ben! Come back here!" Four Arms called out. But Ben just threw his hands up once more and headed out the door. Shocks and Blitzwolfer looked at each other.
"We were too hard on him," Shocks said softly.
"I know." Blitz said, his ear drooping.
"We know you guys love us and were protecting us, but Ben truly didn't mean it," Cassie said.
"He loves us and we actually begged him to show us some of his moves," Tyina added. Both of the aliens looked at each other and then bolted out of the room to find Ben. They saw him just getting into a spaceship.
"BEN STOP!" Shocks called out.
"WAIT A MINUTE!" Blitzwolfer yelled out. But Ben was already in the ship and could not hear them.
"KID GET BACK HERE!" Four Arms said as he literally caught the wing of the ship and when Ben tried to take off, the ship wouldn't move.
"What on Earth is going on?" Ben thought as he tried to give the ship more power. "This ship is brand new I just AH! OH MY GOSH!" He yelled in shock as Blitz jumped on the windshield.
"Kid power down the ship!" Blitz called out.
"BLITZ GET OFF OF THERE BEFORE YOU GET KILLED!" Ben yelled.
"Not until you stop the ship!" Blitz said somewhat sternly. Ben then jumped as he saw Shocks jump on the front too and stare at him through his right window.
"Ben! Power down! We gotta talk to you!" Shocks called out.
"I'm trying! Just give it a minute!" Ben said, trying to power the ship down. Once the ship was powered off, Ben wiped the sweat off his face in shock at all of what just occurred. Ben slowly but surely got up out of his seat and then headed out the back door. Once he opened it, Tyina and Cassie ran in to greet him.
"Ben! Are you alright?" Cassie asked.
"Yeah, I'm good," Ben said, as he took a small step back.
"Ben, c'mon will you come back inside with us?" Tyina asked.
"Look girls, um, I…" At that moment, Shocks, Four Arms, and Blitzwolfer walked in.
"Ben…" Shocks began.
"Look, I haven't touched them! I was gonna tell them that I think it's for the best that I don't teach them my moves anymore." Ben said, now feeling a bit tired from everything. He then walked past each of them and back into the mansion. Shocks and the others were about to follow, but Four Arms stopped them.
"Guys easy…Ben is having a rough time. Let's give him a little bit of time. He'll come around...I hope…" Four Arms said softly. But that afternoon, everytime the girls would try to speak with him, Ben would sweetly try to avoid them. As he was walking in his room, he turned and saw the girls following him. He quickly slipped inside and closed and locked the door. Soon, he saw the door handle wiggling and jiggling.
"Ben! Ben let us in!" Cassie whined.
"Please! We still wanna be around you Ben!" Tyina called out.
"Yeah! It was an accident!"
"Now let us in!"
"C'mon Ben!"
"You guys need to go rest…" came the soft reply.
"Ben! Ben, open this door!" Cassie demanded, now feeling terrible that he was too nervous to be around them.
"You can't avoid us forever!"
"Guys! Cut it out!" He growled. At that moment, Four Arms walked in and saw the girls beating on the door. He chuckled a bit, but knew they were serious about getting Ben to let them near him. He too beat on the door.
"Ben! C'mon out of there!" Four Arms called. Silence. "Alright, then I'm letting these two determined mischief makers in there to see you!"
"NO! DON'T!" Ben called out, but it was too late. Four Arms literally ripped the door off the hinges and let Cassie and Tyina in! The girls laughed and then ran inside and pounced on Ben knocking him down.
"G-GET OFF!" Ben pleaded, not wanting to hurt the girls. Four Arms came in and crossed one set of his arms and gave Ben a gentle smile.
"No way Ben; these two aren't going to harm you and there is no need to avoid them or us for an accident," Four Arms smiled warmly.
"Now c'mon Ben! Smile!" Cassie giggled as she began gently tickling the hero on his stomach.
"B-But..ahahahaahahah Cahahassie! NOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!"
"You're our friend Ben! It was only an accident," Tyina smiled as she gently tickled his socked feet too.
"Please! I just want to go back to headquarters!" Ben laughed.
"No ya don't! You're only saying that because you feel bad; admit it!" Four Arms said as he pinned the hero to his chest in a bear hug. Ben squirmed, but could not get free of the Tetramand. "I'm not letting you go Ben. Now easy…just take it easy…"
"Ok ok, I did it because I felt bad. I'm sorry I hurt you guys I didn't mean it!" He said. The girls both cocked a curious brow and kissed him on each side of his cheek.
"We know Ben!"
"And it's ok! We still love you!"
"And now that you've admitted it, I will let you go now," Four Arms chuckled. Ben chuckled too, but once he stood up and the three went out into the hallway, he saw Shocks and Blitzwolfer coming towards him…and fast!
"Oh no…" Ben gasped. "I didn't hurt them! They followed me!" Then Ben briskly walked off.
"Ben, hold on!" Blitz called out.
"We're not angry at ya kid!" Shocks added, but Ben was walking further down the hallway. Both aliens then looked at each other.
"He can run…" Blitz grinned mischievously.
"But he can't hide…let's go!" Shocks grinned as the two raced to find Ben.
"Will Ben be alright?" Tyina asked.
"Of course you two; now c'mon! how about some hot dogs and a movie? And not to worry. Once those two catch him, they will be joining us." Four Arms said confidently as he carried the girls in his arms.
