"Ne, Sayu-Chan…?"

Naruto says silently as he looked down at his girlfriend, Sayuri, leaning against him. She hums that tells me that she was listening. Naruto bites his inner cheek and voices out his concern.

"You know that I have the Kyuubi inside of me, right?"

Naruto could feel Sayuri freeze up but quickly relaxes. She nods and cuddles closer to Naruto.

"I wouldn't be your girlfriend if didn't. Would I?"

She replies with no malice in her words. Naruto knew that Mayumi always loved to tease him and as much as Naruto adored her he was being serious and Sayuri quickly picks this up and looks up Naruto. A silent action that tells him that she was listening and was being serious.

Naruto looks down, finding the ground much more interesting than his girlfriend's eyes.

"I wanted to know…why you're still with a monster like me."

"Naruto…"

Naruto looks up and—SLAP!

Naruto's eyes widen as he cuffs his slapped cheek. She had slapped him. And it hurt.

"Sayu-Chan?"

Naruto asks confusingly as to why his girlfriend has suddenly slapped him. Sayuri shrugs it off and…

Slaps him on the other cheek.

Naruto's eyes widen as the stinging feeling of being slapped, twice, lingers on his face.

"…Sayu-Chan…"

Naruto whispers her name dejectedly.

Sayuri grins and cuffs both of his cheeks as she rubs lazy circles on his cheeks before kissing him full on the lips. Naruto's eyes widen furthermore. How could he not when his girlfriend just slapped him and then kissed him. Was it girls day?

Sayuri pulls away and gives him a lazy smile.

"Because I love you, you idiot."

"Then why did you slap me, Sayu-Chan?"

Naruto inquires as he places his hands on top of her hands. Sayuri looks into those beautiful blue eyes of his and smiles when she saw that he was not mad…just confused.

"Because I hate it when you call yourself a monster…you're not a monster Naruto-kun, you never were…you're going to be the greatest Hokage in the history of Konoha…and you can't keep thinking like that because if you do people will start thinking that way too…and they'll keep thinking like that unless you change their minds."

Sayuri smiles happily at him and Naruto reluctantly smiles back.

"So…what was the second slap for?"

Sayuri grins.

"Because I made a bet with Kakashi and the bet stated that if I could slap you with no reason at all he'll walk around Konoha…with a mini skirt on…plus it's really fun."

Naruto sweat drops.

"…So mean, Sayu-Chan."

"I know," Sayuri smiles. "But aren't you glad that I keep you grounded? If you didn't have me you'd be Hokage at the age of ninety and die on the next day."

Sayuri laughs and Naruto laughs along with her.

"If I didn't have you," He pauses and kisses her forehead. "I wouldn't be who I am today."
