"So..." I said, looking down.
"So..." Replied Sarah, looking at her phone.
"You got the stuff?" I asked, looking cautiously around the small room.
"Yeah, you got the money?" She asked.
I pulled out a toonie and quickly put it in her hand. She reached into her bag and pulled out a bottle of apple juice. We snuck into the bathroom and opened the bottle. Sarah took a huge sip, then passed it to me. I took a swig and my eye twitched slightly.
"That's good stuff." Sarah sighed.
"Mhum." I said. I felt a ripple of excitement rush through me, and I knew the apple juice intoxication was about to take full effect. I looked into Sarah's eyes and knew she was thinking the same thing.
"Ha, I feel so magical!" She yelled, leaping through the air.
"Do you feel like a unicorn floated you to the land of the blueberries!" I asked, completely serious. She shook her head vigorously. We ran out of the school bathroom, and bolted down the hallway. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Natalee and Lissa.
"Hey, stop. Sarah! Robyn! STOP!" She yelled, causing several people to look at her in confusion.
"Yes, Nat?" I asked.
"Did you guys have apple juice?" She asked, closing her locker and putting her hands on her hips. Sarah hung her head in shame.
"No." She confessed.
"Yes." I lied. We exchanged angry looks.
"You two are horrible liars, just so you know. And, we have math next! You can't go to math like this!" She said, waving her hands to show her displeasure.
"." I giggled, and Lissa tried to cover a smirk.
Nat rolled her eyes.
