"Come on reaper!" Shadow yelled to her partner, gunshots ringing out all around them. Reaper was currently returning fire at a group of police that had found them in the alleyway they were currently having a shootout it. Reaper glanced back as she shot at the police officers at the entrance of the alleyway and even though Shadow couldn't see her face. She knew her partner had a crazy smirk under her mask.
"Let's go!" Reaper yelled back laughing. She really was like a little kid sometimes. Shadow shook her head and smirked at her partner's childishness.
Reaper took one last shot and bolted. Shadow following close behind. They ran down the alleyway. Farther and farther away from the cops. A bullet ricochets off the wall next to shadow's head and she flinched. Neither stopped running. The only time they slowed down was to aim their sidearm and return fire. Always hearing a cry of pain from an officer after they fired.
Finally, they reached the end of the alleyway. "Alleyoop!" Reaper cried, knelt and locked her hands together ready to spring her partner over the wall. Shadow stepped onto the hands. Reaper stood up, throwing her hands upward. Shadow jumped as Reaper threw her hands up, gaining more height and managing to palm the top of the wall. She quickly mounted it and reached for Reaper. Reaper jumped up and grabbed the outstretched hand. Shadow pulled upwards and got Reaper up on the wall with her. Reaper stood and took a bow.
"Thank you, thank you. You've been a wonderful group of stormtroopers to play with." Arrogance evident in every syllable.
As if in response she had to duck as a shotgun spread of fire was launched at her head. She looked at the culprit of the shot. It was a female police officer with a shocking amount of blonde hair. Angry red eyes staring back.
"Fuck you Reaper!" The officer yelled back.
Reaper smirked under her mask again.
"Unfortunately, I am taken but I appreciate the sentiment. Until next time officers!" With that Reaper and Shadow jumped off the wall, onto the other side, and continued to run. Not looking back.
