The proposal
This is my inside on what happens at the end of the party in the pants. (with spoilers also from the shot in the dark)

The proposal
Booth and Brennan were on their way home after Booth's mother wedding, and Booth was worried, Brennan has been awfully quiet after she had picked up his mother's bride bouquet. They were both aware what the tradition said it meant, and Booth, knowing Brennan's view on marriage, and was afraid she was freaking out. Suddenly they realized they had arrived home. So Booth turned off the engine and they entered the house. When they were inside, Booth spoke.
-Bones, are you ok?. I'm worried, we've been happy at the wedding but you've been really quiet after you know, you picked up the bouquet. Booth asked directly
-Yeah, Booth, I'm fine. I was just thinking, she replied
-Bones, listen. We both know what people say it means, but, it doesn't have to. I know what you think. And I want you to know that married or not, I'll never leave you. Booth said, nervous
-But, what if, what If I changed my mind?, asked Brennan, nervous
-What do you mean Bones? Please tell me you're not breaking up with me. I just could not live without you, you mean everything to me, and after everything we've been through. I could not live without you. Booth said, nearly crying
-No Booth, I love you and I couldn't live without you either. What I mean is what If I'd changed my views on marriage? Brennan answered
-Really Bones. What are you talking about? Asked Booth
-Do you remember how I "talked" with my mum when I was shot?, asked Brennan
-Yeah, why? Was Booth's answer
-The night before they left, my mom and I had an argument. She was upset at me for starting smoking for a guy. She told me I had to think with my mind and don't be so emotional. But, this time, even she said to me the previous advice was still valid, she said to me it was time to flourish and to live a full live, Brennan
-I though your life was full Bones, that I made you happy, Booth asked
-You do, It's me who I'm afraid are not making you happy. Said Brennan
-No Bones, you made me incredibly happy. Parker, Christine and you is all I need. Answered Booth
-I know, but you're letting aside things that are important to you for me, like your religion, said Brennan
-Bones, seriously it… booth began but Brennan interrupted him
-No Booth, I love you more than everything and I don't want for you to have to feel guilty about our relationship, or leave your religion on one side. Plus, I guess I know what my mother meant. It's time for me to lose the last of my fears and allow myself to truly love, and I can't picture myself loving any other man in my live, said Brennan
-What are you saying Bones?, asked Booth
-Booth, I guess what I'm saying is, I love you, and I know you love me, we have a daughter. Would you marry me, Booth?
Booth was speechless, he couldn't believe what he was hearing, and then he reacted
-Bones, please wait for me here, I'd came back. Booth said and run to their bedroom, leaving Brennan shocked on the living room
Two minutes later Booth returned with a little black box on his hands. He got on one knee and opened the box, presenting Brennan with the most amazing engagement ring
-Bones, you just made me the happiest man in this world, but you know me, I'm quite traditional, so, what do you say my amazing loving Bones. Will you marry me?. Asked Booth
- Yessss, I will marry you Booth I love you
Booth then woke up and put the ring on Brennan finger, then they kissed for a really long time, until they decided to go into their bedroom to continue celebrating their engagement
