[The Park Area]
"Hinagiku-san!" A blue-haired butler called to the pink-haired schoolgirl. The schoolgirl then turn around to the source.
She was puzzled of why the blue-haired butler called her while she was walking towards the elevator of the clock tower. He was running towards her with somewhat a small, wrapped present in his hand.
"Hinagiku-san. Wait." He said to the girl. "I wanted to give you something in return for helping me."
The pinkette blushed.
"Geez. I told you, you don't have to do that." She said, a bit of insistment in her speech.
"But I really wanted to show my appreciation to you, Hinagiku-san." He also insisted. "Here."
She looked at the present on the bluenette's hands. While it was small, it doesn't meant that the surprise wouldn't be big. Let alone that it is a present from the boy she likes. She then looked at his sweet, handsome and kind yet feminine face that she admired.
Her cheeks inflated, reminding her the last time what appreciation he wanted to thank for.
(3 Weeks Earlier)
In the Violet Apartment, the blue-haired boy was struggling to study for his upcoming english test. He tried so hard to understand the concept of speeches, past tense, present tense and more.
'This is bad. If this keeps up, there's no way I'll be able to score this.' He thought. Then, he heard a knock on his door.
"Yes? Come in." He answered. Coming in was a pink-haired girl in her blue pajamas.
"Hello, Hayate-kun." She said to the boy.
"Hinagiku-san. You're still up?" He asked to the pinkette.
"Well. I thought that I can help you improving your grades."
The blue-haired teen smiled. "Thank you very much, Hinagiku-san."
The two spent all night studying english. She was teaching him all about how to pronounce the words correctly, how to spell it right while he was paying attention of what the girl was saying.
It even took them more than 2 hours for the two to study.
(Back To The Present)
The pinkette is just standing there, redfaced while Hayate hold the present in front of her. She really did insist on him not to do anything for her.
Apparently, he still wanted to express his gratitude.
With her biting her lips, still redfaced, she snatched the present away from the boy, while looking away.
"Just so you know, it's only for expressing your gratitude to me. It's not like... I wanted something from you or anything." She said.
He smiled cheerfully. "Of course. As long as you get the present."
She stood there, looking away from Hayate before she looked back at him. Hinagiku was a bit of a tranced to say something, but decided to do so anyway since there was no other option in her mind.
"Th-Thank you very much, Hayate-kun." She said.
"Your welcome." He said before excusing himself.
As the butler walked away, she looked at the present Hayate gave. Deciding to open it, she unwraps the decorative wrap along with a ribbon, revealing a present box. She then opens it and inside it was a bundle of cookies and a small, pocket-sized teddy bear with a note that says thank you.
She smiles, gladly ate the cookies along the way.
'Best present ever.' She thought while smiling.
