I walked to the man at the booth selling tickets and said, "Get me a ticket to the furthest station from here."

"Not many towns have train stations, I'll see what I can do," I stood there impatiently when the man finally says, "The furthest town from this station is a town called Rainy Hollow."

"Sounds like a small town, how many people live there?" I asked.

"Um… It says here that only 16 people live there," The man answered.

"Sounds fun," I replied, "Okay, I'll buy one ticket."

"Are you sure?" The man asked, "The train only stops there every month on the first Friday."

"Okay," I said, "I want to move somewhere any way." You see I'm 14 and I get to move to a town, I'd prefer one with no worries.

"Okay, Here's your ticket," the man said as he handed me the short stub with the train company's logo on it.

"Thanks," I say as I grab the ticket, and jump on board the train. I sit down by myself, and grab a brochure to read about my new town. Except there isn't anything about my town just the other towns on this line. It only talks about Rainy Hollow on the schedule. Well, I guess the most I can do now is sit here and, and… I fell asleep

I wake up and check my watch. WOW! I've slept for an hour and a half, 'cause now it's 10:30. Then all of a sudden the town passes through a big tunnel. I look around and realize that I'm the only person on the train. Wait, no I'm not. There's someone else sitting with his back towards me. All I can see is that he is wearing a red diamond sweater. He stands up and turns around. Wait, he's not a guy, he's a CAT! A cat with a sweater. Man, that's weird. And, it's WALKING! Cats can't do that, not on 2 legs anyway.

"Hey," He says, "Is it 10:32 on January 3rd?"

"What!?" I scream, "Cats can't talk!"

"Well of course we can," The Cat says, "What do you think I'm doing now?" All I could do was stutter, as he said "My name's Rover, what's your name?"

"Uh, my name's Leif, and yeah it is 10:32 on January 3rd," I answered.

"Good, I was right, this thing gets thrown off very easily. Cool name by the way. Well, I'll let you on your way, Bye!" Rover replied as he stood up and walked to the back of the train car, and out the door.

"Hey!" I yelled, "Where are you going? Rover, ROVER!" The train stopped and the conductor said to get off the train. I stood up and walked off the train. It was raining in this small town, truthful to its name. I look around to find a map next to the train station. "Hmm…" I thought to myself, "I guess I should go to the town hall." I walked to the town hall shown on the map, across a river on a cobblestone bridge and walked through the blue door. I was still a bit weirded out by Rover the cat talking, but then, I saw a dog, in a green vest.

"Hello," It says, "Welcome to Rainy Hollow."
