He Doesn't Pay His Taxes Either
The reaper paused at the sight of the familiar figure already beside the body on the bed. "Sir, I didn't realize-"
Death waved aside the stuttered apology. "I was just passing; it's usually not worth the effort."
The reaper gaped at this admission and politely declined the offer of popcorn.
Death shrugged and took a large handful. "I just had to see how he'd get out of being-" he coughed on an unpopped kernel "-accidentally run through with an angel blade."
The reaper jumped as a no-longer-deceased Dean Winchester sat up.
"See? Here we go again," sighed Death.
