"Valentine Kisses"
Inside their apartment, Kassy is sitting at her desk looking at a picture of her mom and dad that she was holding. She sighs sadly as tears begin to brim her eyes, "I miss you guys so much." She says in a barely audible whisper.
Fangface, who has just enters the room, hears his fiance's whisper, "(Grr) Kassy, are you okay?" he asks out of concern as he comes up behind her and places a hand on her right shoulder.
She raises her right hand and places it on top of his, "Today is my mom's and dad's anniversary." Kassy replies and looks at her fiancé with a sad smile.
"Aw, Kassy, I'm sorry I didn't know, (grr) didn't know." Fangface replies as he pulls his love to her feet and hugs her tightly, "No wonder you don't care much for Valentine's Day." He adds.
"I haven't had a reason to like it for a couple of years now, I mean being with you has lessen the pain somewhat, but I don't think anything will ever make the loss go away completely." Kassy comments and lays her head on her beau's chest.
Fangface rests his head on top of hers and runs his hands up and down her back soothingly, "I wish there was more I could do (snarl)." He states as he feels bad that Kassy is upset.
Kassy sighs, " Can we just get away from our apartment for a bit?" she asks not wanting to stay cooped up and allow the memories to bother her anymore.
"(Grr) Of course, where do you want to go?" Fangface replies as he pulls back and looks down into her green eyes.
"Let's just go to the park and walk for a bit." Kassy replies, "I don't want to go anywhere where there's a lot of people." She adds.
Fangface nods, "Ok, let's go." He says and leads her outside and to the park.
They reach the park and thankfully no one else is around, Fangface places an arm around Kassy's shoulders, and the young couple proceeds to walk through the park.
They soon reach a small lake in the middle of the park, and take a seat on one of the benches overlooking the serene scene.
Kassy sighs contentedly and leans against her love, Fangface leans against her in return, and both just enjoy being near each other.
"Kassy?" Fangface asks after noticing how quiet she is being.
"Hmm?" Kassy asks in return and glances up at her love.
"You're being quiet, are you sure you're okay? (Grr) Okay." He asks and looks down at her.
Their eyes meet and Kassy smiles slightly, "I'm better now that I'm away from the apartment." She replies and leans forward slightly.
Fangface leans down and they both share a deep, but loving kiss, as they pull back, they look into each other's eyes.
"I love you, Fangsy, Happy Valentine's Day." Kassy states.
"I love you too, Kassy, (grr) Happy Valentine's Day." Fangface replies.
They spend the rest of the night at the park and being with each other with no more worries or sorrow to bother them.
