1. Chapter 1

Hello everybody! Yes! I am alive and not dead! XD As you might have realized, I have already written this story. But I deleted it so I could edit it and add a new chapter! I hope you guys like it! ^^

Love Can Never Die Right

Hello! My name is Amy Rose. Yes it's me! Sonic the hedgehog's girlfriend! Right now I'm lying on my bed waiting for Sonic to pick me up so we can go out for our date. He's already an hour late.

I love him. I really do. But something always comes up. As much as I want to be with him, I need to let him go. He's never there anymore. Well…he can't. That's the problem. It's not his fault we have to break up. But he just can't. He doesn't kiss me, just a peck on the cheek or lips. He barley says he loves me, just when he's leaving or going to bed and even then he just murmurs it. He doesn't cuddle me in his arms anymore. Just a gentle 5 second hug. He said he would make me a song. It's been three years. Still not finished.

I'm sorry. I really am. But do you know how annoying it is to chase after someone just to get a "Hi" from them? When he's your boyfriend! It's annoying and it hurts.

I glance up at the clock. Yeah, he's way past late. He forgot. Just watch…

At Sonic's work

"Son of a bitch!" Sonic yells as he kicks his desk. He sits down and kicks his feet up on top of his desk. He's seething in anger. "Another damn date. Another fucking date I forgot!" he hits the wall, making a dent. 'I just wanted to be with my girl for at least a night. One full night of me and my girl. Just me and her.' he thought with a smile.

"It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now."

Sonic's phone goes off. Sonic immediately shoots for his phone, hearing Amy's ringtone. It's a text. He checks the text with hope that she will forgive him. He smiles but it leaves as soon as it came.

"Sonic I know you're probably busy and I know you forgot our date. Don't bother to apologize. When you are done with work I need you to go to the meadow. I will be waiting. We need to talk about something important. Love ya."

Sonic grits his teeth together in anger/sadness. 'It's just not fair. It isn't." he thought. Sonic laughed in frustration. He tried to ask his boss to let him off for one night a few days ago. But it didn't work. As usual. He remembers everything.

Flashback

"Please boss! Just let me off for one night!" Sonic pleaded on his knees.

"Get up! You look weak!" His boss snarled.

"When it comes to my girl then yes. I am weak." Sonic looks his boss in the eye.

"No!" His boss yelled.

"Please! I need this night with Amy! I haven't seen her for to long! I just want this night with her! I want this to be the perfect night!" Sonic explained with a slight smile.

"No! For the last time! If I have to tell you again you will be fired!" His boss shouted with anger.

"Please!"

"Do you want to be fired?"

Sonic's lip trembled. It does that when he gets upset. Amy finds it adorable. Finally, Sonic got off his knees and headed out the door.

Before he left, he murmured a few words.

"You said you would be there for me if I needed something. I need this more than anything." then he left out the door.

End of flashback

Sonic sighs and rests his head on his desk.

'What do I do?'
