Naruto Campfire Song-Song Story!
Summery: Naruto and the team are out camping on one of their ninja missions. Naruto decides to lighten up the drab mood with a fun song, but the team seems intent on ruining it for him!
Disclaimer: I DO NOT OWN NARUTO, OR THE CAMPFIRE SONG-SONG!!!
The starry sky overhead told Team 7 it was time to stop for the night.
Sakura yawned as she set up her tent. "That wasn't as bad as it could've been…" She stretched and sat in front of the heap of sticks and bags.
Naruto's enthusiastic mood was never killed, that includes now! "Didja see that Sasuke?! I got my tent up way before yours!" He spun around to see Sasuke's completed tent.
"Loser."
"Settle down you two. Naruto if you have enough energy to be hyper, go look for firewood."
Naruto smirked at this. This was the same place they had camped two nights ago, and because he had thought ahead for once, he had already found the firewood from the last time! "Ha!! No problem!" He grinned and pranced to the edge of their camp and picked up several logs of wood. "Here ya' go!" He dumped them in front of Kakashi, who groaned.
"All I wanted was five minutes of quiet." Sasuke glared at Naruto.
"Naruto!!! You are sooo annoying!!" Sakura yelled from her now completed tent.
Kakashi finished making the several packs of ramen while Naruto tried to convince Sakura that he wasn't annoying. "But, how…" He trailed off as he smelled the ramen. "He sat directly in front of Kakashi. "Yeah! Believe it!! I'm starving!!" He devoured three bowls of the stuff while everyone rolled their eyes at him.
"Aren't you tired yet, Naruto?" Sakura asked him bluntly, hoping the answer was yes.
He slurped up the last of his fifth bowl, "No, not really!" Everything was quiet for a few seconds. "Hey, I got an idea!" He looked around at the people circling the campfire. "Let's sing the Campfire Song-Song!"
"Lets not," Sasuke said unenthusiastically, but Naruto growled at him and started anyway.
"Let's gather 'round the campfire and sing our-"
Sasuke immediately put the fire out with the bucket of water next to him. "There is no campfire."
"Anyways, as I was singing! –Campfire song! Our C-A-M-P-F-I-R-E-S-O-N-G SONG! And if you don't think that I can sing-"
"You can't," Sakura stated bluntly.
"The sooner you stop interrupting me, the sooner I'll be done! –It faster than your wrong, but it'll help if you just sing alooong!"
"No!" The three of them chorused.
"C-A-M-P-F-I-R-E-S-O-N-G SONG! C-A-M-P-F-I-R-E-S-O-N-G SONG! And if you don't think that I can sing it faster then your wrong, but it'll help if you just sing alooong! Sakura!"
"I don't think so."
"Awww, Sasuke, then!"
"…"
"Kakashi-sensei?" But, of coarse, he was too busy reading to notice he'd been spoken to. "Good!" Naruto shouted. "It'll help, it'll help, if you just sing along!!!!!"
Sakura sighed and walked over to her tent. "Night, Sasuke!"
"Whatever," he said, getting up and walking to his.
Naruto followed suit discouragedly, thinking "I hope they're in a better mood tommarrow!"
Kakashi watched them, before announcing, "It's hard to read in the dark!"
