It's UC 0180. 100 years have passed since the end of the One Year War. Nearly 30 years of peace have reigned across the galaxy. The Grand Duchy of Mars & allies have declared Independance from Earth ... Once again... War is brewing in the Earth Sphere...

Prologue

The year was Universal Century 0180. The United Earth Sphere, comprised of The Earth Federation, The Republic of Mars, and the Space Colony nations, was nearing it's 25th year of true peace... however, not everyone was happy. The Republic of Mars was suffering economically, things such as the prices of fuel to even the basic necessities of acquiring food and water, were becoming difficult to attain. The Space Colonies too, were starting to suffer... Resources were slowly and slowly becomes scarcer and scarcer on Earth.

Then, during a routine research and mining session on Callisto, one of Jupiter's moons, Martian scientists discovered a new radical mineral – Metatron Ore. Metatron is an ore that was found to have unique space warping properties that could be exploited. Though metatron is not fully understood, it became the basis of many new technologies, including locomotionpower generation, extra dimensional storageweaponryshielding, and artificial intelligence. With this new found resource, The Republic of Mars declared it's immediate independence from the United Earth Sphere and became the Grand Duchy of Mars. They were not alone in their declaration – The Frontier Colonies (All those beyond the Asteroid Belt and in Mars' atmosphere) also joined with the Grand Duchy of Mars to form the High Solaris Union. On the surface, the Earth Federation was against the breaking away due to economical reasons. Since the Metatron was discovered in former Earth Sphere territory, the Earth Federation wanted a piece of the pie – they wanted the mineral too. And in the first moments of conflict, the Earth Federation and Lunar (The Moon) sent a strike force to Antillia Colony, outside of Jupiter... their mission was to recover Metatron ore to bring back for study and to recover one of the High Solaris Union's prototype mobile weapons, known as an Orbital Frame... they were unsuccessful in their efforts, the Earth Federation Mobile Suit models haven't been upgraded since UC 123, and were grossly unmatched for the speed and agility and overall power of the Orbital Frame – in short, they were cut to pieces in moments.

The Earth Federation, in response to the annihilation of their forces, used Nuclear weapons on Antillia Colony... obliterating it and all the innocent people who were still in it... It was later known as the Antillia Tragedy... It was the official beginning to the War between the Earth Federation and her forces against the High Solaris Union.

This story starts on a neutral colony nation, Gemini Colony, a part of the Mutable Colony Cluster. Hikaru Yuudai, a young man from Earth, and his twin sister, Hikari Yuudai are attending a prestigious college at Gemini Colony. Gemini University, was known as the most prestigious and advanced University located in the entire galaxy. This is the beginning of their story...
