A/N: For Harry Hermione shippers. My first story ever. Really excited for all the reviews. ENJOY:)

Disclaimer: Not JKR's. I own my own plot.

On a chilly winter night when everything seems dead, no sound, no movements and not even a single person to behold. One Harry Potter was walking down the cold and eerie pathways leading to the gates of his best friends Hermione Granger Weasely and Ronald Weasely. He was lost in his thoughts of the golden times when he would keep his head on HIS Hermione's lap and rest peacefully under the trees in Hogwart's grounds, The times when all three of them had an unbreakable bond. He missed those days dearly. He reached at their gate and knocked. Hermione his beautiful Hermione opened the door. She shivered from the sudden cold breeze that presented itself on opening the door. Oh how he longed to hold her in his arms and save her from the cold bitterness that lies both outside and inside her home. Ron and Hermione did not have what is called a romantic marriage. Fights are a daily occurrence but it is Hermione who compromises every time. May be it is in the women nature or it's just Hermione being her usual kind. Harry greeted her with a kiss on the cheek and went inside. He was not oblivious to the way Hermione responded to his kiss. He knew that they both wished and longed for each other but now their paths were different. Hermione chose to save his and Ron's friendship over claiming Harry's love for herself. His Hermione was the most selfless person ever. It was too late before they realised their mistakes. Harry for not claiming her sooner and Hermione for being blinded by a pesky infatuation with Ron. Ron greeted Harry with a cheerful smile still oblivious to anything and everything that goes around him. At least some one was happy with the way things turned out. Hermione always kept Ron happy even though she felt suffocated inside. This is the beauty of his Hermione, Harry's Hermione. Harry married Ginny. Ginny was a sweet girl. She kept him happy. She kept the kids James Sirius and Albus Severus happy. A third was on her way Lily Luna. Hermione was the godmother to all three of them. Hermione's Rose and Hugo were doing fairly well. No doubt Ron was a good father. He was always a family man. The night was spent well. The three of them laughed on their old memories, discussed the upcoming events, had shots of firewhisky; just like the old days. The only difference was soon Harry will have to leave her. He had to go back to Ginny and Hermione would go back to Ron. He felt his heart breaking. The pain of leaving Hermione always brought chills down his spine. But as always he told himself that tomorrow he will see her again in the ministry where they both worked. He will feel her again. As he looked at her from across the porch they were sitting on, she looked at him and Harry's eyes widened as he came to the realisation that she is always with him. Hermione is always with him because she is in his heart, in his soul and in his very existence. There is no Harry without Hermione. They may not be married, they may not be together but they will still love each other. Forever.

Happy Reading!
