WELP, I really needed something to get me out of this funk in regards to writing. So I decided that maybe a meme might do me good! Get the old creative juices flowing. It's the one where you pick a fandom/pairing and put your music player on shuffle, and write for the duration of the song. So that's why these will probably be short. That's pretty much all this is.

Just Dance – Lady Gaga

It wasn't often that Megatron indulged in high grade or much of any entertainment So when he woke up sprawled on the floor in the bridge of the Nemesis, he was both perplexed and itching to take out his growing anger on whoever crossed him next. Thankfully he seemed to be alone, not even a Vehicon on monitor duty, and was able to pick himself up with as much dignity as he could. His first few attempts at recalling the past night yielded nothing, but he had the vague sense of loud music and bright lights.

Somehow he felt this was all Starscream's fault.

Supermassive Black Hole – Muse

He was perfectly aware of his good looks; the lithe forms of Seekers were usually met with an appreciative glance, and he was exceptionally handsome in his own opinion. However, while he didn't discredit using ones more alluring features to climb the ranks, he had yet to do so himself. His own pride and arrogance carried him just as well as any amount of narcissism. When he finally met Megatron, that changed.

Megatron didn't seem to be interested in his tactics or skill, or interested in him at all for that matter. So Starscream broke his self-imposed not-quite-rule. Just this once.

I Want To Ride My Bicycle – Queen

There was nothing he loved more than flying. The feel of a crisp breeze over his wings, the chill of high altitudes, higher than any Earth vehicle could reach normally, the simplicity of it. Even though he was loath to admit, the sight of an Earth sky filled him with a thrill, just as much as a Cybertronian one. Starscream treasured the time he spent flying, almost as much as he coveted Megatron's position as leader of the Decepticons.

Not Alone – Darren Criss

Megatron knew what it was to be looked down upon. While he may have once been a gladiator, he had his beginnings in the slums as a miner, he knew the feeling of desolation, of hopelessness. So he tried to changed things. He gathered his peers, he started a revolution, but most of all, he had a vision. One of a different Cybertron, one where those like he used to be could make something of themselves.

And while he would never, never, admit this to anyone, he doesn't think he would have ever been driven to go this far without Starscream.
