Save me
Tears ran down her cheeks as the pain increased. The silent sobs racked her whole body. She felt so dirty. Was this what she deserved? Was her life truly worthless? A slap connected with her face, then a foot in her stomach, causing her to fall to the ground, gasping for breath.
"Get out of here you filthy monster!" yelled one of the faceless villages.
A monster? Was that what she was? She looked up at the villagers surrounding her with a cold blank stare that gave nothing away; the look of a beast that had finally lost its will to live, broken and without purpose. She was a monster. That was what she was. She certainly wasn't human. Humans belonged to the world of light. She was of the darkness. She would never belong to the world of light no matter how hard she tried.
Silently and slowly she stood back up. The villagers all backed away warily, not knowing what their target would do next. The girl simply looked to the sky staring angrily at the stars above.
"Follow the star, huh?" she huffed. "The world is filled with stars. Which one was the one you told me to follow, Jijii-sensei?"
She spared the villagers on last glancebefore she leaped up into the air and landed on the nearest roof top with , what could only be called, a ninja's speed. A silver chakra began to surround her and slowly take the the menacing shape that the five-year old girl was known for. The silver eyed girl glared angryly back down at the villagers that were currently frozen in fear.
"A monster, huh?"smiled the girl, bitterly. "You are probably right. But that doesn't mean I'm gotting to just go away."
With the speed that she had used previously and the deadly accuracy that she had learned in her short life she drew the hidden kunai's from inside her kimono and killed her tormenter. In the end, she couldn't have agreed more with the villagers' chose in words. Only a monster would have felt nothing at the sight of destruction they had just caused.
