"She's dazzling" Was the very first thought I had had of him.
His long hair and beautiful big eyes were just mesmerizing. And I loved beauty. Everything beautiful had to be cherished, had to be loved.
And thus, I fell in love with him. A long, long time a ago.
My name is Jeile, Astale Ei Daemonia Eucharistia Jeile is my full name. At that time, I had fallen in love with my newborn baby brother's caretaker Lei. I had mistaken him for a woman, and had fallen in love with him. And I caught myself envying Aram (my little brother) for having Lei around him constantly.
But, there was a short time in which I felt extremely lucky. I time in which I believed he was mine. A time in which I didn't care that he was a boy. I was just happy. He had such beauty. He held me awake in the middle of the nights, as I thought of him constantly. I couldn't eat a single bite of my favorite food. Ah, I was so foolish, so in love. I will never forget that feeling…
'I have to do something, I want to see him. I want to be with him. Oh, Lord! What is this aching desire?' The little boy bit his hand in frustration while walking through the room in circles. His cloak lay on the floor and his eyes were aimed sharp at the floor. 'He has cursed me! He put his spell on me! I just know he did! … No he didn't! …I can't take it anymore! I just have to see his beautiful face once more! Just once!' He grabbed his cloak from the floor, swung it over his shoulders and stormed out of his room. His breathing was irregular and he felt his heart flutter harder with the second. He held his hand over his heart and closed his eyes. 'It's like dying. I hurts. But I like it. Oh, if this is death, I'd want to die more often!'
'I wonder where he is? I've looked everywhere…Except…' He boy thought, entering the Rose Garden. The place they first met. And there he was indeed. His hair still long, softly moving along with the wind. The crown prince softly gasped for air. How could someone be so beautiful. "Are you going to stay there, milord? Or would you rather join me?" The eyes of the beauty connected with the prince's. Jeile's mouth went open and closed. He couldn't find his words, and so he joined the caretaker. "They're beautiful aren't they?" The young caretaker muttered as his fingers traced a leaf of a rose. "N-Not as beautiful as you!!" The words flew out of his mouth, followed by a fist covering his mouth and eyes pierced to the ground. "Sorry" he muttered. A soft giggle came from Lei's mouth. He found it amusing. Jeile gasped for air as he tried to stop blushing. Their eyes connected again.
The prince leaned towards the caretaker, carefully, gently…
His
heart skipped a beat as Lei leaned in to the kiss. It was an innocent
kiss. A kiss of which adults would have referred as puppy
love. But that's not what Jeile thought
of it. Jeile was in love, very deep in love. So much in love that his
stomach heart and his head felt light and he kept drifting off at
total random moments. Moments passed, seconds passed, minutes passed.
to the crown prince a whole year had passed by then. The kiss had
made his stomach go overload and his heart nearly pounded out of his
chest. Lei ended the kiss. The shy, innocent and yet serious kiss.
"Thank you, sire.." The feminine boy whispered, standing up.
"It's Jeile."
"Excuse me?"
"My name is Jeile! Call
me Jeile!"
"Alright, as you wish…. Jeile.."
And with
that, the boy left, leaving the prince all alone.
"Bye Lei….
My Lei.."
Ahhhh. So naïve, so naïve. It was such a nice sensation. So sweet and yet, so fragile.
And
I can't help but to remember, every time I see him, how soft his
lips were.
Lei, Little Lei, My
Lei.. You're not Aram's. You're mine. And you still are..
And always will be….
